It is a game, to be sure. No but really, it is weird, but not at all in a bad way, I really like the surreal aesthetic of it even if the gameplay was a little slow, and the audio was also very nice

How did you incorporate the theme and lore?
I made a simple rts "system" for the ai. The player can only stop it by "breaking" the main brain of the ai system. Hopefully, this interpretation counts. I also was not able to incorporate the lore in time.

I can definitely see this game being addicting with a few tweaks! love the SFX btw for the gold orb collection, & the music really fits.
a couple suggestions for improvement:
- imo if the world size could have been smaller or the character speed a bit faster (even with limitations like stamina system) it would feel less frustrating - especially since i spent most of the time exploring the map slowly to look for things. would also be useful to have a way to dodge the AI - once they spot you they speed up and it’s basically game over lol
- a tutorial is a must, even just a short block of text in the itch.io page because I was very lost for a while - i was looking for the small temples that spawn aliens for a while on the 2nd level b/c i had no clue that the first time i played the level i accidentally summoned them by shooting the main structure.
Awesome work!
I really like the atmosphere you managed to achieve, it was very spooky! Well done! I think you should be able to aim where you shoot, but then again it made the enemies 100 x more scary because you could only run away from them. The game was also very hard, I only managed to get to level 2. But all in all it's a fun game!
Hey really nice game! Did alot of great work with a little, and the opening atmosphere was legitimately intruiging.

Hi. The game was fun but hard.
The main title animation when you move and the title just scrolls up is really cool.
That second level is super hard (or at least I suck at it lol). Aiming is not really an option, so hitting those aliens was almost impossible. I just resorted to dodging them, but after a couple of minutes when the map is filled with them is pretty hard. I managed to get 3 hits on the main building on my best play, but I couldn’t complete it :c
Good job!
Cool art style and really nice atmosphere. But for me the player feels pretty slow and aiming is also kind of awkward.
Awesome ambiance and really unique style! Enemies had a satisfying hard but not too hard behavior to them.

"It is over" hahaha.
It was a cool game ! I like that there was an introduction level to understand how to win, it did take me a while to understand that the grey projectiles would not work tho, maybe adding some kind of "objective" text would've help, but I did understand in the end. The temple explosion is pretty nice and I like that grainy post FX.
Nice interesting game.
The aesthetic that this game brings to the table is outstanding. I love the character, the enemies and the temples. No lore usage but none the less a great game.
I thought the game was quite charming. Lovely aesthetics with the visuals and music. Also retro style was definitely a win for me. My only complaint is the difficulty. Since the balls shoot in an arch, the enemy comes flying towards you making it difficult to hit them in time. All in all great game. :D
Love the aesthetic and feel of this one! Very spooky and cool, and I loved the way all the models looked. Maybe it's just me, but I would have liked to have a little more control over my character. They're really sluggish and not being able to control the arc of your shot got a bit frustrating. It was taking me too long to kill enemies and by the time I finally cleared out one 3 more had spawned. Maybe being able to hold the button down to set your power would be a good way to go. I think also some sort of health would be nice. Having only one hit when you have to hit the main building so many times to destroy it was very tough. Overall, really cool and unique experience!
