I want to do it, but I don’t have the time right now.

This game was awesome! I feel really bad because I didn’t have the chance to vote :c

Really fun rhythm game and very well implemented!

Great job!

Very cute art and original game. The movement felt a bit awkward in the way you bounced away from other people. That ex needs to get over it xD. Good job!

Thank you for playing!

I hear you about the colors, specially on the level where I put green and cyan together t.t (dumb me).

Cool platformer. The platforming and the spellcasting time feel really good. The pixelart and animations are out of this world. Amazing.

I’ve seen the “fill the board without repeating a block” mechanic in lots of places, couldn’t point to any specific, but I bet you have seen that before somewhere as well.

I worked on top of that idea and added the obstacles, color requirements, and switches.

Glad you liked it! :)

This feels like a great start for a full game. The mechanics that you introduced are pretty interesting, but maybe too simple, and the game a bit easy, but understandable as it is a jam. The story is also interesting and the pixelart was great. I can see you expanding on this. Great job!

Great platformer! That robot model is super nice.. The gameplay feels nice and responsive and the levels are challenging and clever. Good Job!

Simple and fun game. Good job!

Cool game. The puzzles were fun, clever, and well explained. :)

Pretty fun but hard game. When the 3 machines were going at the same time, that was too much for me.

The instructions could have been clearer, specially the last machine, I think the instructions say a lot of things and at the end it was just “move the slider” (though I think this was part of what you wanted?).

Good job.

Hi: https://tomeyro.itch.io/bulbyland

Hi! This is my entry https://tomeyro.itch.io/bulbyland

Simple but pretty effective and fun. I liked it.

Pretty good game!

The graphics and general aesthetic of the game are really cool.

I like the different weapons with different effects.

Good job…

Hi!

My Game: BulbyLand -> https://tomeyro.itch.io/bulbyland

This is really fun and challenging. It is a nice spin to the Doctor Mario type of games.

Nice game.

Crazy theme. You have everything: ads, tree people, piranha plants, aliens, random gardener attacks, plants going brrrr.

It was a fun experience.

Congrats.

Really cool game.

The graphics, sounds, and gameplay all worked nicely together.

The levels got challenging in a nice learning curve and you had a lot of content.

Congrats.

This is really good.

The art is gorgeous and the music you picked is great.

The puzzles are clever and satisfying.

The “replay” feature is really nice as well.

Good job!

Cool game with an interesting theme.

The thing with the tentacles was cool.

I don’t know how to measure my “score”. I see some numbers increasing and decreasing but I don’t really understand how or why, so I cannot compare each run to see if I improved.

The game is pretty nice. And the theme was funny.

The graphics go together with the theme and story you planned, however the fonts (even if they are “hand drawn” similarly to the rest of the graphics) can be pretty hard to understand sometimes.

PS: I right clicked and saved everything I could.

The game is really pretty and the gameplay is really relaxing.

I was not able to find a way to deliver the pieces to repair the tower, as I cannot find enough batteries to return. Maybe a battery tracker would be nice to make it a bit easier to decide on where to go.

Congrats.

was there any reason in particular why you decided to try out “Power Sauce” when you did?

It showed up while sorting in “random” and a few days ago I saw a tweet from you (I think retwitted by the gogodotjam accout) talking about the game and the multiplayer aspect, so I got curious.

The underlying Godot plugin that integrates with Epic Online Services for the multiplayer functionality is something I’ve developed & I’d really like to get it to a point where people can do Jam level multiplayer games

And I did not only mention the multiplayer thing just because it is hard, it is also because in a Jam there are not many people trying out games, and the ones trying them out want to play a lot of the entries, so having to wait for a lobby might scare people away.

Maybe if it was a multiplayer focused jam it would make more sense.

In a technical aspect this is really nice, but it is hard to evaluate as you really cannot experience the full thing.

This was really fun and cute.

Sometimes the hamsters got stuck trying to walk in a straight line through the wheels. I needed to move the wheels so they could pass.

The art for the characters and the enemies is nice. And the music and sfx complement them.

The game objective is not clear, you can improve the explanation of what you need to do. I needed to try the first level a few times before really understanding what to do with the battery.

Nice game!

You have a lot of features and they are all well executed, even if it is one level.

Good job!

One suggestion: when you need to fall to a lower level, there are enemies sometimes on the bottom that there is no way for the player to know, so maybe you can improve that vertical movement a bit.

Nice graphics and funny adaptation of the theme.

I found a bug: If I keep shooting, even if the sun hits me I don’t die. The sprite dissapears, but I just keep shooting and the game continues.

It was the only way to win because those are a lot of bullets and the snowman is pretty big, so dodging the bullets was kind of impossible to me.

Edit: merry christmas to you too!

Nice looking game, and the gameplay was pretty innovative.

The world sometimes feels really open and with no guide it is hard to see what to do or where you need to go.

The power management with upgrades looks cool, but it is not clear. I used the jetpack and gun a lot and didn’t see how the energy was used/consumed.

Also the enemies hitbox seems to be too small.

Thank you for playing!

I thought I removed that music pitch (because I think the same) but I didn’t, and I didn’t have time to work on it after submitting :(

Then I just need to start learning how to make plushies <3

Cute game. It is really nice how you introduce new mechanics and how you combine them at the end.

That ending is really nice :)

Nice looking tomatoes.

Movement is confusing, as you turn around instantly it took me a while to understand what was happening, and I was able to go off the board.

Also in one play the character turned to look at the camera, so I was moving with the controls backwards.

Besides from that, I think making an online-only multiplayer game for a Jam was not the best decision.

When I played it found a lobby, but it was only one player there and not moving, so I collected the tomatoes, and then nothing happened (but you already have this in you known bugs list).

I closed and reopened the game, hoping to start a new game, but it put me in the same lobby, with no tomatoes, and even with my same score. Not sure if intended or not, but just so you know.

Congrats on daring to choose to make a multiplayer game and delivering, and I bet you learned a lot.

Thank you for playing and for your nice comment! <3

That level is where it starts getting trickier. I’ll give you a clue: DRRUU ;)

Nice gameplay, though basic still (it has a lot of room for improvement like more skills, units, and strategy).

Nice visuals and sounds.

The only thing is I don’t see what I’m shooting, only when it hits on the ship structure. And I also don’t see if I’m actually hurting the shield/turret.

Really nice theme interpretation.

The art and music really make the story pop.

And it is even localized in 2 languages!

Good job.

Hi!

The drawing of the character and enemies is cool.

The game objective is not clear, but you have a pretty nice base to go on.

For a first game it is really nice that you delivered it.

Congrats!

Pretty game and really enjoyable. Even with simple mechanics it becomes challenging, so it is nice trying to beat your highscore.

Cool game theme and good to speedrun.

On the last level there is a bug: you can collision with the pikes through the wall if you touch near the bottom of it.

Also I think the movement is not adjusted with delta so sometimes in lower-end PCs it gets weird.

Besides that, it was nice to see you stream the development :) I witnessed the struggle haha

Nice job.
