I really enjoy this strange mechanic! I included it in my compilation video series of the Low Rez Jam games, if you would like to take a look :)

Ridiculous fun!

I really wanted to like this game but the keyboard controls were just too finicky for me to actually progress further. Once I got to the stack of explosive crates, I couldn't manage to make it underneath the next one before it dropped. That's probably not at all far into the game.

The sounds were okay and the graphics, while good, could be improved with some environmental shading (like the character has). It really came down to the keyboard controls and the fact that no matter how hard I spammed keys, sometimes I just wouldn't get any response out of the guns.

It's definitely worth a play for the movement alone, if you happen to have a controller. Still, well done!

Very fun and cool idea - i like it --- but i think would be even better with combination of classic "walking" - also want some music - anyway its really fun - reminds me classic arcade with "space ship and low fuel"

The graphics were really nice (those eyes in the last room were really creepy), but the movement mechanic was the most interesting part of your game. I could not understand why sometimes it would allow me to "slide" on the floor and sometimes not, but other than that, I absolutely loved it and would be interesting in seeing what kind of updates you could add to it!

Really cool game you have here!

I'll update the game once the voting period ends (and I find some time to work on it) and all this feedback and ideas will be very useful.

Thanks for your comments!

Great idea! It's like Lunar Lander, but with guns ^__^

I love the graphics, she looks completely awesome.

I too had a lot of trouble with the controls though, often I'd press rapidly and get no shots at all. I was playing on a keyboard though, and I think what might have happened here is you tested on dual stick controllers most of the time? There's definitely some work here to make it feel like a responsive, smooth game, but the concept is great, so I hope you keep at it!

Neat! Nice mechanic. Felt a little rough around the edges but could be very cool with a bit of development! As others have said, on keyboard gun doesn't fire until key released, and it annoyed me having to jump to move - maybe let the player slide on the floor?

Really nice animation!

Interesting concept, I really enjoyed it. I think it wasn't exactly pixel perfect, but it didn't really bothered me, because it was fun. Those rocket guns. :D

Loved the character animation, really cool how he moves his arm to aim, pretty badass! Especially when he cross shoot.

Wild west Iron Man repulsor platformer? Why not, works well and the graphics are perfect.

Using keyboard, it's a bit weird to get used to the guns shooting when you release the keys and not when you press them but that's ok.

Very fun and the secret passage with the weird eye thing at the end was nice. Good one!

Flinging myself around by firing guns is interesting; reminds me of the XKCD What If article about flying by building a platform of AK-47s! Nice low-res graphics, too, and choice of protagonist.

really really interesting mechanic for movement/exploration!
nice visual design, too...I would like to move around faster, but eventualy i did get the hand of 'double shooting' to go a little further... Ultimately an enjoyably unique little experience... A 'multiplayer mode' could be interesting, a shootout (ala nidhog) could bring some laughs. good job!

The two guns movement mechanic is awesome!
It feels good but sometimes the guns don't respond as I expected.
