Really nice game! I included it in my LowRezJam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Did you work in a team?
Yes, a team of two.
Was the resolution a challenge?
yes and no - the resolution can hide sloppy assets and be very forgiving, but at the same time it's tough to retain readability.
What did you learn?
I learned 3d in game maker studio 2. I had a ton of fun and might develop something larger with these skills.

Your game totally surprised me, the graphics are super awesome :) Everything feels very polished, for example the camera movement and the controls are very smooth! Overall you did a great job and you've accomplished so much in only two weeks you should be very proud of yourself :) Thank you so much for sharing your game!
Good job! Looks surprisingly good in the low resolution, and was pretty readable! The animations were a fun doom throwback, I've played so much of the original doom that they immediately felt familiar :)
I never got past the final boss though, I emptied every single bullet from every single gun I had and eventually had no way of damaging him! Though reading the comments it seems I never hit the body
Wow I didnt expect to see a first person shooter in only 64x64. The controls and graphics are very good too.
I understand now your comment in my game... i get out of bullets and being killed for some shooter... Atmosphere is inmersive, sound and graphics work pretty good, and the game goes really smooth my only complain is pallete and high contrast textures sometimes are hard to see. Overall very enjoyable.
Nice entry!
Nice stuff, very competently made. As a compulsive reloader, I wasn't a huge fan of the accurate-but-punishing reloads, but there were enough guns lying around it wasn't too bad. As somebody else said, the noisy, high-contrast textures created a lot of flashing pixel noise on the screen which could make things hard to parse. You definitely achieved the vibes you set out for on this one, loved the intro cutscene in particular. Great stuff.
Game is fantastic. I haven't played much yet but its a lot of fun, has great atmosphere, and the guns feel punchy. Making the limited resolution part of the story is something I never would have though of. My only complaint is that the sensitivity is way, way too high for me, if there is a way to turn it down I couldn't figure it out.
This is a very fun game! The controls and combat are very smooth and responsive. It's kinda hard to see in some of the more textured areas, like the sandy spots and many of the walls. Perhaps if some of those textures were a little less detailed it would be more readable. But a great game for sure!
Slick, polished, very well designed. It's a hit, for sure! The retro FPS feel / aesthetic is flawless, and I LOL'd at the story / dialog. I feel like the final boss takes too long to beat, but this might just be due to my terrible aiming skills. You managed to balance out the weapons nicely, but I'm a sucker for a shotgun in FPSs, so I mostly stuck with that =P
One of the most polished entries Ive seen so far, Nice soundtrack and detailed visuals, although it was difficult to see enemies especially in the darker areas but awesome job overall. My time was 11:32.
AWESOME!
Great retro feeling with intriguing atmosphere, I fell into it in the first 10 seconds! I wish there was a melee weapon as well, I quite a lot run out of ammo very quickly. Maybe creating a system where melee combat would reward you with ammo/health would be more exciting.
Overall, it is a very solid game with awesome use of resolution restriction both with visuals and a little touch of story.
Excellent job!
WOW! this one of the best entries of this jam so far. The look, feel and music are just perfect!!
Wow, this was really really sick! You totally nailed the retro shooter gamefeel. I found myself relying on the shotgun for most of the game, but I still enjoyed the other weapons.
I really liked the use of lighting to differentiate the rooms. If I felt lost, I just had to remember what color lights were on the walls, and sort of 'follow the light' if that makes sense. It also made it easier to realize when I was going backwards (i.e "ive seen this blue room before, I'm going backwards")
Not sure if I was doing something wrong with the final boss, but it felt like it took me hundreds of shots to kill it. I ran out of ammo on all my guns and ran around picking up ammo and emptying clip after clip into the beasts head, but eventually killed it with a stomach shot (perhaps I was supposed to shoot it in the stomach the whole time?). Ended with 12:21 as my final time!
Great work!
