Awesome game! I had a blast playing, I believe it has a lot of replay value and I even want to see people speedrun it! Excited to see more with the full release!

Some suggestions if you are open:
1. At first, I didnt realize there were duplicate books. This is kinda silly, but other players might have the same issue. A simple solution will be to show a completed shelf so the player knows what success looks like.

2. Would love to have WASD camera panning, instead of mouse based panning.

Yeah! I would do a PC release first then iOS/Android sometime after. Im considering whether the game should be in portrait or landscape mode

Its hard to browse games in darkmode as I cant see the filters i am typing in. I would expect the text to be higher contrast

Steps to reproduce:

1. Turn on dark mode

2. Go to browse page.

3. Click on Filter dropdown, and start typing. Notice that the input text is way too light and hard to see.

Another common feedback item is the idleness of Orbrix. Some people want it more idle, while others argue that the game shouldn't be idle at all. I would like to support both play styles. 

To facilitate this, I think some changes will be made. If you opt for idle gameplay (auto-fire), then you get less rewards from bricks and waves last longer between bosses. This sounds punishing so I would like to reward idle players in some way.

The real idle gameplay will come with endless mode. Once you beat the game, you can unlock every upgrade and kill infinite waves of bricks. Really want to nail the feeling of being overpowered in endless mode, and maybe allowing a prestige mechanic could help with this. Although I try to avoid prestige mechanics, i think it might be fun for an endless mode

What do you think? What kind of idle experiences would you like to see in Orbrix?

One of the biggest pieces of feedback received is that General Upgrades dont feel impactful after awhile. Add_Bullet and Add_Damage doesnt impact the same after doing it 20 times. 

I am entertaining ideas for how to solve this. One idea is that instead of having all these upgrades, you can only choose one or the other. Would you rather have more bullets, or faster reload time? Stronger bullets or faster bullets? The idea is that you can make builds from this, sniper build, cannon build, etc. 

With this in mind, im thinking of adding the following upgrades: Bullet_Speed, Bullet_lifetime(increase vs decrease?), Bullet_piercing(size)
Currently, these are all the general upgrades

• BALL_DAMAGE
• BALL_ADD
• BALL_RELOAD_SPEED
• BALL_FIRE_RATE
• BRICK_REWARD
• AUTO_FIRE
• AUTO_RESTART
• SKIP_LAYER
• MONEY_TO_DIAMOND
• CRIT_CHANCE
• CRIT_DAMAGE

This kind of experimentation is what I love about gamedev. There are tons of potential to make Orbrix even more fun.

ngl, my play testers did not realize this. People who didn't know how to flick found the game way too slow, so I made hands more generous with leaf grabs. Congrats on being one of my elite players!

This game was absolutely hilarious. I laughed so hard when the guy went through a booster and zoomed off. Really funny audio and great use of the jams theme. Well done!

I had to look up the final ending but it was sooo worth it! hahaha. This game made me laugh a lot :o)
