Loved the pixel art tho, the game is quite hard, enemies nonstop lol but i love it and the ARMAGEDDON is great!

Very nice submission, I really liked the pixelart in this game, good job!

Developer

Thank you! ♥

Wow. The art is gorgeous, and the game is so polished. It doesn't feel like a game jam submission, it's amazing work.

Developer

I'm glad you liked Mr. Blood Bucket (loved your game btw)

I really created the pixelart as fast as possible so I can improve it even more! :) Thanks for your comment!

This game was fantastic! I burned so many monsters.

The moment you max that thundersword *intro riff to Rhapsody of fire - Holy Thunderforce starts to play* :D

Okay so silly joke aside i really had tons of fun playing your game, and the fact that you made a full on upgrade menu system with this many spells and all for a jam game is really impressive :O

I just had some initial hiccups, i wanted to try through the web version but i had a strange bug, i properly clicked in the game window upon start and all to make sure the mouse input worked, and i could click on menu buttons and all but in the tutorial i couldn't shoot the fireball spell when asked to no matter what i did so i'm not sure what happened there :/ so i took the download build.

So other than this oddity with the web build, i had no other issues what so ever, i had a good time, i love the art and music, and i really liked the fact that even if you fail you keep your points so you can upgrade and have an easier time upon retry.

You did really well, congrats and good job ^^

Man I hate the HTML builds x) Thank you for playing!
I'm glad that you had fun with it :)!

No problem your game was tons of fun :)

and well html builds are convienient but they still do have thjeir issues ^^'

Yo! I knew I already liked the art from what you posted on reddit.. The gameplay loop + progression to each level was really fun and natural too. It's already super polished for a game jam game, but I think there's a lot of potential here if you wanted to make it a full game, especially with a few tweaks with UI and balancing. Anyway, it was a lot of fun! I would've totally been down to play more levels lol

Developer

The Balancing is a mess because I did not have much time for playtest haha! thanks!

This feels like almost a full game to be released commercially tbh, Although I only felt the fireball spell is the most useful in every case, I just had a fun by playing this game!

It's unfortunate that I can't rate your entry as I only had halfway done my 3D RTS game and I don't submit it because I felt this is incomplete for this game jam.

Developer(+1)

HEy! Thanks :)

The Fireball is a very good alrounder. But in this build - if you maxed Earth or Thunder AND your MP..these weapons are OP.
I had no time for balancing all these things right haha.

I hope you will finish your next jam in time!

I am impressed you added so many features! And nice pixel art!

Submitted(+1)

Amazing game! It doesn't even look like a game made for jam. Really awesome!!!

Submitted(+1)

crazy that you did this in such a short time, it's almost a full game!

good job

Animus for the win!

Amazing game, lots of features and everything so well explained. Has some complexity but a low learning curve. Just amazing, thanks for this game.

Submitted(+1)

Great game! Very polished and easy to learn with the great and funny tutorial!

Submitted(+1)

Wow! You clearly put so much work into this! Great tutorial! And those ice balls were 'cool' to shoot! 😉💕

This game is really good! The game play is simple and satisfying. The art and music is really well done. The upgrade option are well designed and balanced. Impressive work!

Submitted(+1)

I’m betting this one will be in the top 3 games this jam. Very impressive work.

Submitted(+1)

It felt so good to upgrade my Thunder Sword to the max and crush the enemies!

This game is just too awesome, and I have nothing but respect for your hard work.

Developer

The Thundersword is the hidden op weapon..At the beginning its not good because of the MP usage but if you max it...

Thank you so much..That means a lot to me since I put SO MUCH effort in this :')

Submitted(+1)

This is great game - art, music, intro, multiple levels... Very impressive :D

Developer(+1)

Thanks! ♥

Sadly I misread the deadline  by a few days.. :( The levels are little bit rushed and

I wanted a boss so hard..Maybe in the future :D

Winning game no cap

Developer

Haha thanks! ♥

Super fun game. At first couldnt get to move the character (but the game still detected the inpu). Tried it again and could play. Didnt undertand how to get mana haha, but maybe its because I am sleepy. Will try again tomorrow!

Developer

Thank you! Yeah I had this "move bug"too a few times. But only in the HTMl version.. :/

You get some mana if you kill enemys and collect the soul energy. It can give you 1-4 Mana points back.

But the point of the game is that you are struggle at the beginning but over the time you can power up your tools.

On way for example is:

> Upgrade the soul energy droprate to gain even more of it

> Upgrade MP Reg time to get more MP over the Time

> If you level MP Reg enough you will unlock MP max - If you level this parameter up you get maximum around 250 mana.

> Another variant is to level up the damage of your skills so you kill enemys with less spells :)

I could see this in steam workshop, with some work can be a complete and full game. Congratulations!

Developer(+1)

Thanks!
Yea I will think about it to make a full game with this kind of concept :)
