Cool rhytm game.
I like the notebook aesthetic, and the controls are solid and easy to get as you went for 4 directions instead of more notes.
Some small issues i had, the difficulty is a bit hard i feel, as getting some of these triple notes sometimes feels quite fast, and while the music is cool, i feel that the very loud beeps the inputs make are a bit distracting and out of place with the rest, it could be better if you had either notes or beeps that would sample one of the sounds that come from the actual music of the game.
That being said, it's still enjoyable to play.
Good job :)
The art style of the game is great!
Another DDR fan that enjoyed this. Great graphical style!
As an old DDR fan, it's nice to see an entry like this. Really like the handrawn style and the funny story! Good job!
Thanks for playing and for the kind words S2.
Nice simple game, pleasant handdrawn art. Rythm part is challenging, especially because its played on directional keys.
nice art style, but i suck at timing games...
Really cool art style, very unique I like the idea, it already starts hard though and I'm not very good with this kind of game, but I enjoyed it, great work!
i love the graphical style! Really nice combination of ideas as well. I think the best thing to improve it would maybe add a little more indication of when a key is successfully pressed. I wasn't really sure if the key presses were actually synced to the music at all.
So many points for graphics though. btw, your rhythm game section music is also used in another game here, Hamster Energy Co, coincidentally. not that thats a bad thing, its free music and its a good song! Just was kind of funny when I realized it.
great job and thanks for the fun time, i have now converted all of my money to uncoin. i cant wait to be rich...
Thanks for playing and good feedback :).
We gonna change some thinngs when the Jam ends. You're helping us a lot with this complete feedback and sugestions :).
Always great to see a familiar name in the game jam! This was so great!! First of all the story was wonderful. I loved all of the dialogue at the beginning and found it to be very humorous! I wasn't expecting this to be a rhythm game when I first clicked on it and I'm so glad it was! It was really well done and was fun for me to stay on the tips of my fingers trying to get a good score! The artwork is absolutely so much fun and the music went well. Great job!
Thank you very much for the kind words! We have a dedicated writer for our scripts (that's me!) and try to keep it simple and fun. We are thinking about improving the rhythm aspects of the game in the future too xD
Hi friend! Nice to see you again in a Jam.
We are beginners in game development and we are changing the genre of games a little for the didactic purpose. This time, we opted to make a rhythm game :).
Of course it's not a rhythm game with the same quality of "Sir Slithersworth", but I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Thanks for playing and for the kind words S2.
I couldn't figure out how to press up and down keys "physically" :D
Had fun, having a few different tracks would make the game a lot more engaging :)
We are planning on using some original songs from our music team on the updated version, changing the tune according to the power plant used. Thank you for the feedback xD
Very cool art style! only thing that i would change later, is the notes matching the key of the song (just as a nice polish)
This is on the plans for the updated version! Thank you for the feedback xD
The pencil + notebook sketch artwork is very charming—I wish there were more drawings to look at because I enjoyed them. The gameplay was very difficult but challenging. Great music too
Hi friend! Nice to see you again in a Gogodot jam XD.
We probably messed up a little on the difficulty, but thanks for telling us XD.
Anyway, thanks for the good feedback and playing our game. We hope you enjoyed it =).
Very cool and unique art style. In my opinion the upgrades could add something more to the gameplay like special notes that hit all the other notes on the screen. You have clearly put a lot of effort into the art. Great job.
Thanks for playing and for the good feedback, it's much important for us.
We'll look to add some improvements when the jam ends. you gave us a good idea here XD.
Wow! This game really took me back to my school days! I like how you used the lined paper theme even onto the page back ground. Fun story that related very well to the jam theme! I like the music a lot and the game play was very fun! Nicely done!🧡
Thanks for playing, glad you liked it =). S2
The art style is really interesting! Good job!
Thanks for playing and for the good feedback. It's really important for us S2.
Really cool artstyle, I dig it. :D
Thanks for playing! We hope you enjoyed it =).
Very nice game and original art style :)
What I missed was information for player, when arrow was pressed too early (or late), respectively correctly - it could be done by changing color or fulfilling the arrow with color or something. I like the happy face, when multiple arrows were pressed correctly :)
Thanks for playing and for the good feedback =). We hope you enjoyed it!
Good hint! We gonna make some changes when the jam ends ;D.
Hi! your game has very unique artstyle and the idea was good. The only thing I found a little bit annoying was the fact that the notes played by the arrows were not in the key of the song used. Apart from that, good job.
thank you. The music used was a place holder. The notes spawns are randon and the idea was that it could have soe chaos like intermitent wind moving the fans. But in future updates we could add more music and matching notes
(shameless advertisement: we’d improved the rhythm system for our game off entry!)
only thing is maybe have the controls be optional 4,8,6,2 on the numpad since its organized more like a controller
Thanks for playing and for the good feedback, it's important for us =).
We gonna make changes when the Jam ends.
Pretty fun! I think it starts out a little too hard though and some of the arrows seem difficult to hit correctly, especially when it's 3 at the same time.
Thank you for the feedback. We tried to implement the arrows for the first time so the game doesn’t have tracks with keys following a rhythm. We generate them in random places and between random time so there is this problem when 2 or more keys can spawn at the same time. We are looking for solutions for our future games.
