I was going to do the units will chase down either side when their target is far enough, but was not enough time to implement this, so I made them standing still shooting at distances to not make player side gets overwhelmed. Thanks for the feedback on these several different aspects, may implement them in next update when I have time.

Good game concept and execution, I think this game can be added with more variety of contents and potentially release as a final game. Just that I don't know what's up with the thumbnail for this game entry. 😂

Btw, here is the time I made it:

Though the game has only two levels, the arts, sound effects and music are sure nice knowing that you done by yourselves, keep up the good work!

Nice little game you have here! Did a bit more attempts on final stage but I finally did it!

I like how the environment will affect the strategy should take, but maybe should have a forecast mechanism what the next effect will be and notify the player what the effects taking in place currently. I did rescued some civilians but the AI pathfinding didn't worked properly when there is a narrow door frame there in some buildings. And the sound cue regarding the random "spawning" civilians a bit weird too. It's nice that you made it as your entry, good luck on your game dev journey!

The voice acting and visuals are cool and immersed! However, I was hit with low fps when starting the intro cutscenes, seems like the trees made my laptop dropped to 10+ fps or so. Also, I wish can have some visual guidance especially at the later points of the game, the movement controls are weird as well, and I can "lift off" from the ground if I looked deep down.

By the way, I still hooked in with the mysterious atmosphere and voice acting, though!

I know the first 48 hours can have fixing game breaking bugs and adding alternative platforms support, but I noticed that my web based html game size is larger than it should be.

Now I have exported them with smaller file sizes, may I know am I allowed to reupload this as well?

Sorry in advance if this is asked before or obvious question.

Nice endless survival game, for some reason the moving platforms on the ground just decided to push me while I was at a corner and my character being pushed out of bound. And like someone commented here, the game could use more enemy variety, and I think can add in the restart button so the player can just click to replay again.

Thanks for the rating and feedback, glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, I will definitely try to control how many bullets to be spawned and use object pooling instead of just deleting bullets right away.

Simple (annoying) puzzle game, I thought the doors just lock by themselves when I investigate inside, turned out it was just me pressing the door buttons too many times caused them doing that. The room a bit too dark for me trying to find teleporting objects and buttons, but this could be by game design. Cool game though!

Nice one! Maybe you can add jumping and falling animations will make the main character more interesting.

I noticed that when my health went zero and respawned, the enemies are all disappeared and I can't proceed in the big dark hall with lots of emergency lights shining. But overall, it's fun to play!

Well, my brain is not fast enough for the last level, but this is really fun to play! Good luck on your game dev journey!

Simple platformer yet beautiful visuals and audio, the collision from the creatures and boss' wave attacks do need some work as they often pushed me to have me a bit disorienting when fighting them. Great game though!

I stuck at the third level and I feel like I have missed something to jump across a big gap to the next huge block, a bit jittery when wall running and jumping and falling, nice visuals for fitting the theme though!

Alright, here's my game for the game jam, hope you have fun playing: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-15/rate/4308926

Alright, here is my game entry: https://ngong2000.itch.io/tactical-fog

Guess this is a new game demo that might be an AAA killer game, glad you had fun developing your game!

Difficult at first, but eventually beat the boss once I figured out some of its combat moves, can add parry mechanism to have additional combat move for player. Overall, nice game!

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, initially I wanted to have another fierce animal that can put the player in danger and also wanted to put some buildings and facilities that is some highlight event when the player discovers them. But I was a bit too busy on my work and just barely managed to the gameplay mechanism so that you can switch equipment, use item(s) and got anomalies as the only threat to escape/attack.

The reason why you can't use the item is because the vitality is not low enough to use and obviously the switching to the same item is a programming oversight, both of these need to fix and polish. There are some other things need to be polished and balanced as well, such as day-night cycle, weapon strength, initial inventory, placement of pickups, etc. Currently I target some of the fixes and add some new contents in the next update, will release it when I get these things done.

Well, I'm glad you enjoyed playing the game and I appreciate your feedback here, thanks!

Thanks for the words, will add more things with the next update when I got free time! :)

Nice use of theme for the messages and the gameplay is quite chaotic, too bad I'm not good at bullet hell alike game. Good job!

Maybe optimize the obstacles(cars) path, overall map design and have other music choice for the last level, then the game will be better. Anyway, nice game and wish you have fun developing games!

Cool 2D platformer game with nice countdown mechanism, hope you have fun developing your game(s)!

Thank you! This is optional, but if you have any feedback, you can reply here, so that I will consider it to improve the game.

Thanks for the comment! You can suggest any idea or feedback here, so that I will consider it and improve my game!

I'm no fan of this kind of horror game, actually, but I think this is professional made like the others in the comment said. Maybe I accidentally found the secret path so I reached to the end without doing much tasks beside took a drawer key and some batteries.

Not sure if you want this, but you can add a "dim light" around the player character when they are in the dark and no light at all, like what Amnesia: The Dark Descent did, so that the player do not get lost at all even in the dark, and the player still feel tense when navigating the house.

Anyway, good luck with your game dev journey!

Thanks for the words! I'm glad you enjoyed playing the game.

The trashes are sometimes spawn at the corner that is basically impossible to catch even with the hook mechanism. Overall, quite simple yet fun gameplay, keep up the work!

Great sci-fi visuals and sounds, could have some use on information about what do all the towers do. It's fun to play, though!

Oh, what the heck, what a surprise ending! Nicely done!

The attack control is a bit weird and could use some sound effects, but I have so much from attacking the boss! Good game!

Great visuals, gameplay mechanics, and I really like the atmosphere of this game! But there are some invisible obstacles stuck me hard and the climbing stairs need to have some works.

Thanks for the comment! This is optional, but if you have any feedback, you can leave a reply here, I would appreciate it so that I may improve the game based on it.

Rated, I wish you have fun developing your own game(s), good luck!

The lifetime and combat mechanism are nicely implemented in my opinion, the only thing to improve I can think of is the power ups on the ground can be displayed more clearly, you can put description of them when the character come near to them or bigger icon. Anyway, good game!

Thank you for the words!

It's fun to play, actually, just that I still figuring out how to land these bombs properly to have accurately jump, also the progression a bit too long to make(but I guess it's because of there is only one level, so not big deal) and not sure what "hands" upgrade does. I wish you have fun developing your game, though!

Maybe this is how I feel on events occurred in a year, some things just didn't go what I expected and this novel game does implies that(At least based on what I chose). And a new year starts, hope you have fun developing games!

Thanks for the comment, by default, the main character is equipping a spear(which is hotkey '1'), but since I have not enough time to implement its attack, so you have to press '2' to equip the shotgun, sorry for the mistake. But I hope you have fun playing this!
