Not sure how can I attack by myself, but seems like my drone can help me attack the enemies all the time!

Like some people in comment section said, the game is indeed atmospheric and its plot is nice, but there is something can be added in the levels to make the game less boring, like the final forest level can be improved by adding more houses or something, or perhaps you can make the scene become night time so it can add a bit more horror atmosphere.
But in the end, I'm glad that you made it to the jam!
The mostly black and white atmosphere and the way the weird enemies spawned did made the game more horror to me. It would be nice if you can put some healing items for players to pick up, as I constantly get rekt by the enemy which shoot faster and high damaging projectile. The smoothed camera movement made the game harder especially moving vertically that it's more difficult to see projectile attacks ahead.
I think I will come back to try to beat the game again when I have time to spare later. I must say that the concept of the music symbol things is nice though!
Nice visuals and it actually did a good job with the procedural room mechanism that brings the feeling that the last door you just entered might not be the same when you came back to the previous door sometimes. I do feel like the layout of the "next room" and spawning of the enemies can be a bit unfair, as sometimes the door just teleport me a the weird corner next to a doorway that had me stuck and there can be 3 enemies spawned too close to me that it's impossible for me to escape and shoot, lead to soft locks or game over.
But still, nice to see that procedural dungeon can be done like this in a week!
Cool coconut catching automation and business concept and execution, also provided with nice little upgrades every time I made to a goal. The visuals are actually pretty nice as every thing on the ground are animating, the only things I think can be improved are there should be an exhaust flame when the rocket takes off and any hotkey to cancel the building action when I misclicked an building option. Well, good luck on your game dev journey!
Nice little platformer game with nice visuals, like some people has commented here, could use the music and sound effects to feel less boring to play and could fit the theme if use the right audio, and I think the upward speed of character jumping can be faster since I would think players normally jump over obstacles when they are near enough, instead of "pre-calculating" the distance and momentum to avoid obstacles. Overall, good entry!
Really like the mining and progression features in this cat theme space adventure game, took me over 1 hour to finish the game! Could use a simple ending when finishing the game instead of direct back to main menu. Still, I really enjoyed the game!
Edit: While the laser upgrades especially the laser fire rate and reach can go crazy like an AOE attack, the shuttle thruster upgrade seems not benefit the shuttle mobility at all.
I was going to do the units will chase down either side when their target is far enough, but was not enough time to implement this, so I made them standing still shooting at distances to not make player side gets overwhelmed. Thanks for the feedback on these several different aspects, may implement them in next update when I have time.
I like how the environment will affect the strategy should take, but maybe should have a forecast mechanism what the next effect will be and notify the player what the effects taking in place currently. I did rescued some civilians but the AI pathfinding didn't worked properly when there is a narrow door frame there in some buildings. And the sound cue regarding the random "spawning" civilians a bit weird too. It's nice that you made it as your entry, good luck on your game dev journey!
The voice acting and visuals are cool and immersed! However, I was hit with low fps when starting the intro cutscenes, seems like the trees made my laptop dropped to 10+ fps or so. Also, I wish can have some visual guidance especially at the later points of the game, the movement controls are weird as well, and I can "lift off" from the ground if I looked deep down.
By the way, I still hooked in with the mysterious atmosphere and voice acting, though!
I know the first 48 hours can have fixing game breaking bugs and adding alternative platforms support, but I noticed that my web based html game size is larger than it should be.
Now I have exported them with smaller file sizes, may I know am I allowed to reupload this as well?
Sorry in advance if this is asked before or obvious question.
Nice endless survival game, for some reason the moving platforms on the ground just decided to push me while I was at a corner and my character being pushed out of bound. And like someone commented here, the game could use more enemy variety, and I think can add in the restart button so the player can just click to replay again.
Simple (annoying) puzzle game, I thought the doors just lock by themselves when I investigate inside, turned out it was just me pressing the door buttons too many times caused them doing that. The room a bit too dark for me trying to find teleporting objects and buttons, but this could be by game design. Cool game though!
Alright, here's my game for the game jam, hope you have fun playing: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-15/rate/4308926
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, initially I wanted to have another fierce animal that can put the player in danger and also wanted to put some buildings and facilities that is some highlight event when the player discovers them. But I was a bit too busy on my work and just barely managed to the gameplay mechanism so that you can switch equipment, use item(s) and got anomalies as the only threat to escape/attack.
The reason why you can't use the item is because the vitality is not low enough to use and obviously the switching to the same item is a programming oversight, both of these need to fix and polish. There are some other things need to be polished and balanced as well, such as day-night cycle, weapon strength, initial inventory, placement of pickups, etc. Currently I target some of the fixes and add some new contents in the next update, will release it when I get these things done.
Well, I'm glad you enjoyed playing the game and I appreciate your feedback here, thanks!
I'm no fan of this kind of horror game, actually, but I think this is professional made like the others in the comment said. Maybe I accidentally found the secret path so I reached to the end without doing much tasks beside took a drawer key and some batteries.
Not sure if you want this, but you can add a "dim light" around the player character when they are in the dark and no light at all, like what Amnesia: The Dark Descent did, so that the player do not get lost at all even in the dark, and the player still feel tense when navigating the house.
Anyway, good luck with your game dev journey!
