How does your game fit the theme?
It's a Hack'n'Slash game with a dice that randomly gives your weapon an elemental power, elements may cause more damage to one enemy but may heal the other, it also have several types of dice with different chances for elements from balanced to chaotic.

Love the visuals and the animations especially! One piece of feedback is the spear was blending into the black background in some places. Could use an outline to highlight it or something. Great work on this!

The visuals are really good, the character and enemy art is my favourite, animations are top-tier too. The gameplay is fun too however I did struggle hitting the flying enemies quite a bit. Really good entry!

I really love the art and animations for all the characters, although some of the main character's animation gets lost in the black background.

I do think the main character's attack seems a bit stunted since so many enemies are kind of hard to hit, specifically the red and green enemies.  It would probably feel better if the first attack either came out faster or had a longer range or had an element to it that hit upwards.

Some sort of dash could also really help with getting to hard to reach enemies and also help move around the map faster and more satisfyingly.

The dice mechanic works really well and it's not overly complicated and just provides a dash of strategy.

Overall this is a really fun game and I liked it a lot <3

This is a really well made and polished game. The animations were very charming and cute, and gave a lot of personality to the game. The combat was good, although I didn't like the fact that control was taken away from the player whenever attacking, although it did allow me to make some jumps that would have not been possible otherwise. Also I would like an up slash attack so the flying green enemies were less difficult to deal with. I found this games take on "you get an ability off a dice roll" interesting, the fact that you could choose which die you wanted made for some strategy. Overall, solid game and I think you guys should continue with this game. Good work!

nice idea and art.

the game a little too hard. recommend less punishes punishes players.  try fill the roll bar faster.

after experience it very fun game.

This has some really good looking and unique graphics. Was a bit hard with the souls-like character controller with the locked animations. Made dodging and avoiding things almost impossible. Still this game has a lot of heart in it and deserves a top 20 position in terms of presentation alone.

It is impossible to move during an attack, it is true, but I think there should be a punishment for incorrectly chosen timing. And projectiles can be repelled by hitting them.

I loved the cute art! The gameplay was a little hit-and-miss. I think a little more control for the player about which element they get would be great (e.g. dice weighted towards certain elements) or give them a way to store an element for later, in case all of the remaining enemies are healed by it.

Another way to make the die rolling more interesting would be to charge the player a heart each time they roll when the bar isn't full. That way, they could try to push their luck to defeat the enemies more quickly.

Thank you for playing! In fact, you can control the weights of the dice, for each beaten wave of enemies you'll get a new dice with different combinations of elements and then you can switch between them with Q and E. And if you don't like your current element applied, you can just "punch the air" to get rid of it (should've probably clarified that somewhere...)

I think charging the player a heart is too brutal for an already relatively hard game 😅

Wow, thanks a lot for the feedback and ideas, we will definitely remember them and consider them when we finish the game. I think it will be even more interesting if, before throwing a dice with an incomplete charge, a dice with faces is thrown: [-2\-2\-2\-1\-1\ success], then there will be a chance to roll the dice without a charge AND without getting punished.

The idea is really fun to play. I think it would be nice if there is tutorial along the side while playing the game instead of text. The green flying one is pretty hard to fight against. The dice is really unique and fun to roll.

Great graphics! I love the rough sketch feel to the characters coupled with smooth framerate. Coupled with music, has some Cuphead feel to it.

I love the game a lot! The art and audio is amazing! The game core mechanic is a really nice extension of the idea "dice roll to determine your attack power". Would have been cooler if the character gets their weapon imbued with the current element, but that's just a personal opinion. The character's acceleration and attacking frames take a bit too long for my taste, however.

Overall, the game is up there in my list of top 5 favorite games with astounding visuals.

Fun game, and the artwork and animation is fantastic! The designs of the player character and enemies are especially great. The game didn't feel like it was getting much harder as the waves progressed, though there is only so much you can accomplish within 48 hours. I do maybe wish that the dice charged up faster to add more variety to the gameplay. Regardless, great submission. This game definitely deserves more attention.

Visual of this game is one of the best I seen so far in this jam, and music is catchy!
It's not very clear what dice supose to be used for, but run and slash platformer part is on the right profeccional level! Good job!

Thank you for playing! Dice changes element of your attacks, for example, coin enemy is a fire-type and water-type attack would deal more damage to him.
