Love the turn based movement, really makes you think about every move right from the start. The 'blades' was a really cool weapon, well done it was fun to play!
As you probably know, I love the idea.
I'd flip the dice info so to the left is the attack that triggers when I move left, and so on. Further, I think the pacing could be a bit faster. If I want to make a series of moves, It takes a while. And don't underestimate the topic "Juiciness".
In my mind what made logical sense was to have an unfolded diagram of the die but it ended up making it a bit more confusing from a game play sense since the north face ends up on top when you go south. Thanks for the comment! <3
Nice game! I like how you add different weapons on each of the dice side. That makes the player carefully plan each move.
Oh wow these really are very similar concepts between our games. I like playing these the most this jam as you can see the small differences taking them into different directions. I like how yours leans more into strategy. The 2d art in combination with the layout visualisation to the left was a smart decision. Having not that much room to avoid enemies makes you reall plan out your next moves. Good job!
A very cool and unique concept! Even though the art is simple, it's really polished. Good job since you're just a one-man-army. The UI design might benefit from some more refinement though, it took me a while to figure out how the game works. A tutorial would be nice - then again, you did mention in your game page that the first few runs should be for figuring out the mechanic. You can also tune some movements of the enemies as well I think, making it less likely for the player to be constantly cornered. Perhaps 1 enemy movement per 2 player movements?
This has a lot of potential as a puzzle game for mobile devices to be honest, or a minigame of some sort.
I like the simple pixel art style you used and though it took a little while to get the mechanics down it was great fun, Great entry!
I think this game is one of my favorites that I've played during the jam! The puzzle mixed with turn-based strategy is really interesting, and I really like how all of the mechanics flow together. I LOVE how you can customize your character by rolling over other shooter tiles, I think that adds so much to the gameplay experience. I will say that the game does get very hard very quickly, but that definitely isn't something wrong with the game, just something I noticed. Overall a really well made game, nice work! :)
Thank you so much for this! <3
Nice concept and pretty art-style, but the mechanics could do with a little more explanation, I didn't really understand which way my die was gonna shoot when I rolled.
Sorry it didn't click for you. Intuitiveness is really something the game needs more of. Thank you for your comment. <3
I really love how the game looks like. Thanks to this, it feels really unique and it is really pleasure to play it!
Nice job!
Thank you! <3
Great concept! It was a little hard to understand the guns at first, but once you understand its great!

Really nice! I am super jealous of the UI and the nice art style. It took me a second to understand the guns, but otherwise it was genuinely fun to scoot around the map. Also, very nicely done on the music and sfx.
Thank you! <3
Cool concept! Really enjoyed the puzzliness! UI for the guns was a bit hard to read - I realize it makes sense for the orientation of the die to have the arrows pointing inward, but would have been easier to grok if they aligned with the physical keys. Overall, great job!
Thank you! If I had more time maybe I could have come up with a more intuitive UI representaion. I'm glad you enjoyed it! <3
Oh I missed a single line of code so the difficulty scaling doesn't work properly. It's still plenty hard but if you get to a point where you can just kill all the enemies as they spawn then I guess you win! congratulations.
