This was super unique and fun! Great job!

I know you have had this feedback already, but it could use a few more levels before the first level. The concept is really hard to get your head around at first, but once you get it you get.

Well done :)

realy realy fun! one thing I didn't like was that cables unpluged when you dont pass the level

The iterations mechanic is a great addition to an otherwise pretty simple concept. To really elevate the game, I would love to see branching output signals so you can run operations simultaneously since it feels like you are going for a zachtronics-like scoring system, but I don't feel like there is quite enough room for player expressiveness to make me want to chase a high score. That said, I love it!

As a programmer I love this! Fantastic! Great job.

This is such a nice conecpt, I loved every aspect of this, the level design was cool, the interactions were very well done. Only thing I could point out is that it felt bad when you messed up one thing and the whole board resetted, I wish it kept my configuration so I could tweak it :)

Great work! The last puzzle was a real tough one.

Was hard at end.. i like it (i beat the game <3 )

I really enjoyed after I actually figured out what to do. Loved the UI and SFX! Great job to you and team!

Amazing puzzle game. Easily my favourite game of the jam so far, puzzles are great. The two problems I know your aware of so not really a point to say but might as well mention it. Being that it would be nice on fails if it didn't reset and the ringing sound.  (Though not everyone had the ringing sound lol)

I thought this was going to be a standard Telephone Switch board style of game, but you put a nice twist on it and combined two genres together. Finally there is a switchboard style puzzle game!

Developer

Thanks for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed my take on switchboards, I'll certainly give yours a try when I have the time!

cool idea! made a prototype for something similar but with programming a year ago. Quite hard to play, and unforgiving, but still cool

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! I'll work on making it less unforgiving in future updates

That was a blast. Really satisfying figuring out those levels. It sucks that the tutorial didn't have proper dev time because trying to understand the rules took a few attempts. Once I got over that though I loved it.

My advise for level 5: Think of the switch board as an "action economy" and try to figure out what piece will take the biggest set of moves.

Developer

Hey thanks for playing , your advise is spot on ha! you hit my exact theme words  when developing level 4 and onwards

Solving the last two puzzles is very satisfying.  Could use an undo button, since you're going to be making mistakes.  Really like the aesthetic of the switchboard.  Very solid, one of my favorites so far.

Developer

thanks for playing.  I defo would of added  the undo it if I had the time.

Really cool idea, and a creative implementation of the theme, but it took me way too long to figure out how to play!

I also had to mute it because the tv on sound at the start is a horrible high pitched noise.

Developer

Hey thanks for playing. Sorry about the noise I never encountered it in my play tests. Maybe I can't hear the high tones. I'll check the project files in the morning see if I missed it

I was also curious so I had a look myself. If you use the spectograph editor in audacity you can see the pitch line (just above 15k)! The two lines at the start are the 2 clicks

I see now on my files too, it was just meant to be a low hum, damn I didn't even think about that. When I was younger I suffered ear damage so I cant hear frequencies above 12.5kh. It reminds of a Tom Scott video.

Iv added a warning to the game page, you can take pride in your good hearing!

Haha amazing thanks! Yeah that video explains it very well!

Bit complicated first level :) At least for me :D

Developer

thanks for playing if I had a little bit more time I would have made a proper tutorial

Submitted(+1)

Really love the aesthetics! Liked the puzzles, too, gave just the right amount of challenge for some minutes. A better (perhaps interactive?) tutorial would've helped to get into the game quicker, though I know making a good tutorial would've required more time than there was for the jam.

Developer(+1)

hey thanks for playing. That's how game jams go sadly, 30 mins till deadline needed to slap a tutorial together in time 😅

Submitted(+1)

Cool Idea. But it's very frustrating, in case you need more than one try for a level. You should implement the reset only for the level, not for the cables.

Developer

it's definitely on the to do list. Time and bugs ment I could get a proper reset feature in time 😔

Developer

Hey everyone who played. A lot of people are getting stuck on lvl5.
