I had a lot of fun with this one. I got to stage 20 and then just kind of walked into the boss. I have a setup that can definitely beat the 30 rounds. I just need to perfect it. Also 30 stages feels really long but it could be because my setup is spamming zappers which are lower damage.

Really fun.

Really nice visuals and fun little game loop. I like all the different ways it tries to trip you up. All the small messages are also a nice touch. It would be nice if there was some background music, but all the sound effects there are really satisfying.

Nice game!

Amazing game. The theming and idea go so well together. A saw-like escape room with actual other players (at least their times) is such a good take on this theme. The visuals, sound design and especially the voice acting all make this a standout game. Of course the actual puzzles themself are also great. (I will say the upper last corridor on the maze puzzle felt like it's lower hitbox was a bit too high, but that is definitely nitpicking).

Great game.

Nice gameplay loop! All the little prompts add a lot of personality to the game.

Had fun!

Really fun movement. Making checkpoints at each stage was a really good idea, as some of the room movements can feel very unfair. If you enter a room on either side of the screen near the top with a high speed, a lot of the time you'll end up in the room above the one you were entering (Due to hitting the movement trigger during the screen transition). This can lead to some deaths that feel unfair if you end up in a room that's about to explode, even if you don't it means you'll likely lose sight of the player which can also make you lose your sense of rhythm.

Really fun movement and overall game!

Really nice puzzle game here. Simple but pleasant art and a very nice backing track. Either a level select or skip feature would be nice, as I got stuck on a level (I think Chap. 3 Level 7?) and couldn't see the rest of the game.

Really fun game!

Theming and polish is amazing. Full progression system also implemented is really impressive.

Really fun game that's incredibly well put together.

Really satisfying polish here. Only managed to get to stage 20, but still had a blast!

Fun game! I always love chess based entries as I'm a big fan of the game, and your spin on it doesn't disappoint!

Really fun idea and writing. Music was good but I don't think it loops.

Solid game!

Fun game! I don't think the music loops, if it does then for some reason only the music stopped for me halfway through my playthrough. Beautiful art style and really solid roguelike!

Fun game with fun characters! Puzzle design is really good here, as the countdown works as a limit to how complex your solutions can be. My one complaint is that having the explosion, into the death animation, into the fade out, then pressing play again all feels really slow. If I accidentally press start or just mess up when I know my solution is working,  it can be a bit annoying to sit through all the animations just to try again.

Overall fun game!

Good puzzle design and nice little game! Would've been nice to have a proper ending, but still fun.

Nice simple game loop. The lack of actual death is pretty interesting for a rogue like, as the genre is generally know for being very punishing. Cool game!

Nice artstyle and fun minigames. Trying to learn each game on the fly with the stress of a timer can be a bit much, but the simple nature of all the games helps remedy this. This game is BEGGING for a frantic backing track that would help fuel the tension, possibly getting faster as the timer nears its end.

Fun game!

Really satisfying to chain kills together, the blood splatter also really elevates this. I'll be honest I think I entirely ignored the primary fire, as the dash and sword throw are already strong enough to deal with every enemy. I don't know if it's necessarily a problem, but maybe something to make the primary fire more unique would give more reason to use it over your other tools.

Fun game!

Nice visuals and sound design is good here. Fun gameplay loop as well. I got a bit frustrated having the 'mix a drink' station and pickup station next to each other, as I kept accidently starting to mix a new drink instead of picking up the drink I needed. Being able to cancel out of the minigame would also be nice.

Really good first game jam game, congrats on finishing!

Really fun game. Made a pawn army with a combination of cards that just let all my pawns move, leading me to beating most battles in 2 turns. Somehow also captured the Reaper's King while most of their pieces were remaining while doing this? Gonna come back to this to try out endless mode.

Incredibly fun!

Really good concept, just lacking a bit of polish. I like all the mechanics that are added, as they all serve unique purposes to add solutions to puzzles. My one complaint would be that due to the sheer number of mechanics, it didn't feel as though we really got to see how all of them work together, as the game kept on adding new ones until I think the second last level.

Good puzzle design and strong foundation for a good puzzle game!

Really well told story. The axe minigame works really well to add some gameplay to the story while also not being too intrusive. All the flashbacks build the world so much and really sell the relationship Marla had with all the other characters. The countdown to Marla's end, as well as showing when flashbacks take place, is such a good use of the theme as well.

Really enjoyed this!

Really enjoyed this one. The OST and level design both stand out immensely. "Chronotower" by fwugneo immediately gave me "The Third Sanctuary" vibes. All the levels manage to stand out whilst also being fun and challenging. The gameplay never got overly frustrating despite remaining challenging. All the game mechanics feel like they were used to their absolute maximum. The only exception would be the cannon's, which I genuinely don't think can kill the player. I assume they only hurt you if you're standing on the ground? But not once did I die to a cannon in the whole playthrough.

Took me about 30 minutes to complete and was an absolute blast.

Really good game! My biggest critique here would be please have what items are under boxes somehow displayed over them. For puzzle games, you don't want to hide information from the player.  The challenge should come from the puzzles themselves, not trying to understand the puzzle. I don't remember which level it was, but one of them had  a 50/50 between instantly needing to restart the level and the correct path. That doesn't really add anything to the game as all it does is either continue the level, or you start again and continue the solution up to that segment because you already know the start.

With more time for level design, there is absolutely a lot of potential here.

Really good use of the theme and just a really great roguelike. Fun to try out all the builds and super satisfying effects.

Nice graphics and really unique. Taking loans to best loans is certainly an interesting concept. Fun game!

Fun game with fun theming, I'm a bit confused as to why some upgrades are negative though? I get that you would purchase them so you can have more life, but because there are upgrades that give upwards of 120+ seconds, it doesn't make sense to spend money on a downgrade when I could just ignore the shop that round then buy an actual upgrade + more time to live the next round.

Clicker game tower defense is actually not something I think I've seen before... This whole game is hilarious, from the theming of Glungus to the explosions to all the dialogue. A treat of a game, if a bit simple.

Unique idea with fun theming. Enjoyed playing around with this a bit. The ice cream seems a bit underpowered given the strength of the other two powers, but overall a good game!

This game has so much charm. The visual style, the rotoscoping, the audio bytes, all phenomenal. The gameplay is so chaotic and fun, and challenging but fair. Trying to figure out some of the new bombs can be a bit confusing, but it is really fun overall.

Really difficult rhythm game. I really wish there were hit sounds as the add so much to the feel of a rhythm game. Also the explosions, while a nice touch, make it really hard to tell if your hitting notes or not in the large combo sections. A really unique game!

Everything about the presentation here is amazing. Beautiful art, the music sets the tone and all the sounds are perfectly implemented. The slight foreshadowing of the rat king in the text, followed by the boss intro was so fun as well.

Unique game, I like the different orbs having unique reasons to use them. I ended up getting two blackholes, which I held outside the growing machine, meaning instead of the orbs falling to the ground becoming too heavy to carry, they would instantly go and grow again. This lead to very large black hole orbs. Then I saw the half way there message, and instantly won after I put the large black hole into the clock. Nice.

Really creative control scheme and nice presentation. The chunky sounds sell the effects of both the shotgun and laser very well. It definitely takes a bit to get used to the controls, but once you start to get it it becomes a fun tower defense game!

Well polished game, it would be really nice if you had variable jump height. The lack of variable jump height makes a lot of levels feel awkward for me. A lot of potential here and a good game overall.

Solid implementation of the theme! I think the balancing could use a bit of work, as I think every boss is beatable purely by spam stunning them with mage freeze -> confusion -> slow -> repeat. The little cinematics are really fun and there's a lot of personality within the game!

Fun endless runner, I think I the second terminal spawned incorrectly, and I managed to run past it, which lead me to be stuck on the second terminal. That being said, I made it to around 4500m. I think the controls can feel a bit stiff with the slow acceleration and deceleration, but overall a fun game.

Nice puzzle design with a a charming story too. It can be a bit annoying when your switching between worlds just to try and find the single tile that allows you to move in the other time, but overall good game!

Really polished platformer with lovely controls. The various applications of the checkpoint flags are really well implemented. The audio is simple but serves the style well.

Very solid game!

Nice rhythm game, would be nice if there were more clear hit effects rather than only miss effects. A lot of the fun of rhythm games is the satisfaction of playing along with the song, so the lack of any satisfying effect or noise for successful play makes the game feel a bit empty.

Really cool concept and application of the theme. The metronome really helps put everything together. Simple art style and witty humor between levels is also quite nice. I think it's a bit on the harder side as its quite strange to get used to, and having no way to learn the level except for running into obstacles makes it a little frustrating. I think a "free camera" or such mode may be able to help, where you would be able to see the whole level just so you can have a little bit more of an idea going into each one, rather than just waiting to die to see anything.

Fun idea and cool atmosphere. I think the game handholds you too much, as every objective is given a waypoint and clear instructions. Also the collisions are a bit janky which means your head can phase through the models if you walk near most walls.

Cool idea and world!
