Awesome game with clever mechanics and levels. I found it a bit irritating that the enemies turn direction while connected. Or at least that they are not perfectly aligned with the grid while moving. Also, I found it a bit hard to anicipate where they are shooting by just seeing the particles. The particles were very fast though. Maybe I would highlight the tiles, too?

Also I would love to have an undo function, where I could just undo a couple of steps, so dying would feel that punishing.

Nontheless, a very good game for 48 hours, very well polished, clever levels,  nice art style and music. I like it very much.

Oooh, highlighted tiles and an undo button are great suggestions that would improve it a lot! Thanks so much for the feedback!

Neat little puzzle game! Like others mentioned the movement could've been a little tighter, but the puzzles make it come together. Not too tricky, not too straightforward.

The game is great, and you've got some really good ideas in here - also, I love the aesthetic of a slime picking up a key.  However, I think that given more time, the level design could be tightened up a bit - every level can be solved with at least one less bullet than given, in a few cases with 2 or 5 less bullets.  Also, I encountered a bug where, despite neither being blocked, only one of the PC/monster would move, which is probably something you should fix if you plan to do a post-jam version.  Very cool ideas, and I hope you make something more out of this!

Really great game ! At first, I thought "damn, yet another control-two-characters-with-shared-controls game", but I quickly realised that this one was not like the others.

The "quantum" mechanic is really good, and the fact that you must kill the monsters to grab the key is a really nice touch, and makes the difference ! You can also outsmart some puzzles (I finished the last level by using only one bullet ^^), but, in my opinion, that's a good point : that means your game can be played differently by different players, and that the sign of a deep game !

The art fits perfectly too, the monsters and characters are cute =) !

I would LOVE to have more levels, more monsters with different mechanics... Do you plan to update your game post-jam ?

Just ONE little drawback : the character stopping at every tile (even if you hold a direction) is a bit frustrating, I would have loved a more "continuous" movement (still tile-based, but without the little stop ^^).

Keep up the good work, this is a really good game !

Great art and fun mechanic. There were a couple times where I experienced a weird bug such as the enemy glitching into the wall. But those overall didn't impact the solutions so I wasn't so much bothered by it.

Great submission, lots of fun!

I loved the art. It is absolutely adorable. The puzzles were entertaining and fun. The progression of the game difficulty was spot on.

Fun concept, and the art looks very nice! A few bugs caused me to not get very far however:

  • Movements between linked enemy and player can easily get out of sync. this can even lead to the enemy ending up inside the player without the player taking damage.
  • There exists a condition where the player is unable to fire a quantum bullet after their linked enemy has died, causing the player to need to kill themselves and start the level over.

This idea was really nice, i had fun playing, the grid movement could be a bit faster, it was also fun putting enemies in the path of other enemy. really polished, thanks!

Super cool concept! Really polished

I really enjoyed the art and sounds. The concept and the implementation was also cool too. However, the movement felt a little bit delayed. Might be the animation speed. Also it might be better to indicate when you can shoot the bullet and how many times you can connect to enemies. Anyways, love the idea, great game!

Really cool sprites! I like the grid based movement, and the puzzles are really clever!

A really cool interpretation of the theme! I don't think I've seen this sort of mechanic used in any other games either. The art and sound work really well with the game too! The only suggestion I have is to make the movement faster. Other than that, great game!
