Original! Big fan of checking maps and getting lost in random real places, it is a fun concept but I wish there was some incentive to use all the photos, also you know the ones you did not use won't show up later, so you could just trial and error your way through.

Still, had a fun time! that's a pretty town you got there ^^

Very original! Thank you for guiding us through your town

I really enjoyed this.  I could totally see using this concept to explore areas, and the sound was really nice!

An simple but original concept. Really interesting exploration of a unique mechanic, it really sells the experience of climbing the hill. Great work!

The game equivalent to coloring books, super chill. The sound did a lot!

A unique entry for sure!

Thank you Zombie! If I did it again, I'd love to add cute, clickable details around the play area, and turn it into more of a diorama type beat. Cheers!

lovely entry!!  I only with the pictures had a bit more visual clues to link them together more.  I really love this concept though, and would LOVE to see a bigger game using the same core mechanic.  It's like a more intimate version of Geoguessr.

Thank you kindly!! When shrinking the photos to fit the play area, I realized that the defining features of each photo kinda disappeared into the clutter. And if I'd cropped them tighter, the actual roads would've went instead, and there'd be nothing to indicate direction lol.

Really happy you're digging the concept and found it a bit more intimate than Google Street View! Might turn this into a nice family game some day :)

Sometimes it is pretty hard to guess and not just try randomly but overall this is a very engaging game. I really liked to walk around the city using pictures!

Thanks Genes, happy you got to see part of the city :D

While taking the photos, I realized most of them are gonna end up vertical (viewing along the length of the street, not from the side) and looking kinda samey.. so planning out how to clearly visualize these branching paths while keeping the real life connections (and also not spamming the user with noisy street corners) would've taken a bit more planning from my side.

If I were to do it again, I'd find simpler locations that are easier to read and connect visually.

Thanks for the feedback!!

Having never been to Japan that was a surprisingly engaging way to experience a part of it. Thanks for sharing!
