Hey Bounana!

We're using Godot, so it might be a little different depending on your engine.

The cable is a Line2D that has it's points populated by a Curve2D Node(generates bezier curves).

The second and third parameters on AddPoint are the in/out vector of the bezier curve.

Once we generate the points we apply them to the Line2Ds Points property. For the shadow we just copy the line 100 units down :)

Cheers,

Gallsy

Dude, this is the some of the most fun I've had with a competitive couch multi-player experience! Well done!

Thanks for the feedback MarcoElz, glad to hear you enjoyed it!

We're actually working on some updates that should be done in a couple of weeks including a new game mode or two. I'll mention the call ended feedback to the other devs and we'll see what happens :)

Hi Toadsanime, we're working on some updates to the game and we'll add the downloadable version back then :)

If you'd like to download it now, the Itch.io app lets you download browser versions.

What a fantastic game! Really nice take  on a puzzle platformer. It's one of the few times I've thought the difficulty could be harder. But! The level it is at now makes it really accessible for a lot of players and I still had a lot of fun.

Well done on getting three whole tile sets in and picking music to suit. Solid work!

Such a chill experience, I really enjoyed exploring the star systems. I was hoping to just fling myself across the map if I built up enough speed on a sun :P

Possibly the best game I've seen in the jam so far - absolutely incredible!

Music, art, level design, neat little dialogue changes and a freaking code!?

Well done, this game rocks!

Great game, and neat take on the theme! I actually couldn't finish it because it reminded me too much of my day job : P

This was so much fun! You could make the most silly vows given enough time : )

So much fun! It got very complicated after a while, but I think now that I understand how it works I could start a new civilization much more easily.

Extremely chill. It's super interesting to explore the new creations as well.

Very well done! : )

I really like the idea of this game, and I was excited to check it out. However, I found clicking around to be a little tedious.

If you can make the UI a bit more concise and perhaps make it so you can grab a few more ingredients at a time, I think this would be really fun!

This was great! I'd love to see a full version where you need to setup a full network with a limited number of cables in order to connect everyone in the building using the routing mechanic : )

I think I did something wrong which made it so I couldn't go back a screen to pick up my gatcha. But I really loved this game! It looks stunning and the puzzles were just the right amount of difficulty.

If you you would like to do some troubleshooting of the issue I came across, just give me a shout - I'd love to help and I'd really like to finish your game : )

Hi Guys, I really wanted to play your game but I think I ran into a bug, or I just don't know how to play. After I click to move once, the character is no longer responsive to mouse input - no aiming or moving.

Am I doing something wrong?

Great concept! I saw another like this, but yours works quite a bit better for being able to see and understand what you need to do. Those extra camera controls really help.

Nice work!

Definitely the best in class for this genre of "join together" game. The physics were spot on and I never felt cheated by it - figuring out the best path to take and getting the timing right was really satisfying.

Great work!

Great idea - I haven't seen any other games use the magnet idea in this way!

We had an interesting experience with the boss level - I got stuck in the little room and sort of cheesed my way to killing the boss, to then find that the minions had been spawning the whole time. Maybe a slight bug, but it was actually really fun and hectic!

Nice game, my dude : )

This is a really good game jam game. The mechanics kept driving me to play more and get a high score, unfortunately my old man reaction times meant I had some trouble getting over 300 score.

Keep up the good work!

Fantastic game - the platforming elements were a lot of fun. I especially liked the "rocket jumping" mechanic : )

An incredible amount of work for 48 hours - well done team!

So glad to see you still got this uploaded! Nice work on completing this game in the 48hr limitation of the Jam.

It's such a great idea and I'm sorry you weren't able to complete

I really like the artwork in this game. Some parts might need work, but it's a great concept and it looks beautiful.

Nice work!

Super interesting idea! I played a couple of rounds to get the hang of things, but the AI kept on beating me :' ) You did a great job getting that into the game in just 48 hours!

Nice work! The puzzles are pretty tricky but I managed to get through 3 stages. I like the night time forest vibe too.

Wow, this is an original idea. I liked the idea of having limited grenades to do the whole mission with.

Unfortunately when I tried to start the second level it seemed to freeze.

Very fun game! Good job with the gameplay loop. Do I have the world record?

We had a lot of fun playing this game. Unsure on how to use the butterfly but we managed to throw ourselves around the room sometimes.

We found your YAY! message.

Thanks for playing our game, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I thought this was going to be a standard Telephone Switch board style of game, but you put a nice twist on it and combined two genres together. Finally there is a switchboard style puzzle game!

Very fun, Such a beautiful game. I love the soft pastel colours and the fun visual themes. I especially like the shaking when the cubes know they are about to die

Very nice, I think it be a bit nicer if the background music synced up to the beat of the joining. I had a lot of fun and finished it on my 15th go.

Momentum felt nice in this game. Nice job on the physics.

This game looks really good, I had a few weird bugs with freeing the other birds but it didn't really impact my enjoyment. Awesome work :)

A little hard to control but still fun regardless. Can't believe you made such nice art in such a short time.

That was really fun. Good job

Didn't expect to see a visual novel here! Your hands must be sore after doing that much art in two days! Keep up the good work!

This is a superb take on the sub-genre of joining based platforming  game-jam games. I found the experience of putting the eyes on the toad to be a pleasant brain tickler. Aesthetically this game is easy on the eye(s).

I had a lot of fun with the unique mechanics, like POWER RANGERS!

Unfortunately I crashed on the boss level when I tried to combine too close to the edge, I got the "Not enough room" error and then got this crash code;

Very unique idea for the theme, I had a lot of fun with the little puzzles and I really like the pixel art - reminded me of Minit!

Get off my ass!

Fun little shooter, but I sucked at gooing the dudes. I really loved the Tron/Hacker vibes.

My high score: 7331

This game has a lot of polish. I was left confused a couple of times, but got a fair way through the second level.
