Good concept and the art looks nice, however it is WAY too difficult to control

Fun game! Controls were hard and I rage quit after getting stuck on the second hill. But, the parts that I did play were fun, if not really hard due to the controls (especially sticking and unsticking the slimes). Great job!

Thank you! I tried to improve the controls a little by tweaking the spring and the sticking as you've noticed but I suppose it wasn't enough. Glad you enjoyed the part you played :)

Very unusual to see spring here instead of a chain but because of that controls feel a bit weird

I like the idea of a spring and not a chain keeping the characters together, however i feel like you should fix it's behaviour a bit: it kinda feels frustrating to move around, maybe have it shoot you faster after you get close enough? I don't know, but the concept is nice and the art/music fits the game really well. Nice job!

Yeah, you're right about it being a little inconvenient at times but I felt it would make the game even more confusing had I changed the real-life spring physics but maybe you're right. Glad to see you enjoyed the presentation, which wouldn't have been possible without my amazing teammate PaperBarber, and the concept! <3

Really hard game! The spring is a great mechanic and it feels great. Loved the game! I just think it would be a bit better if you could control both slimes at the same time maybe one with wasd and other with the arrows but that's just my opinion and I'm not judging the game by it.

Thank you for your objective yet constructive criticism <3 I went back and forth on the controls but ended up going with switching at the end as it felt players would have difficulty controlling both simultaneously and as you noticed it's already difficult enough ;) Glad you liked the spring mechanics I was worried it would be confusing for some :)

The coil is a really great concept that allows for a lot of interesting movement and the execution is pretty good. The checkpoint system did however save a state for me where one slime was unrecoverably falling into spikes. Not that it would be realistic for such a system to be extensively tested in 48 dev time. Great job all in all! :)

Thanks, it was actually kind of unexpected the amount of movement you could perform with the spring that came up after implementing the physics. Yeah, sadly I couldn't work on the checkpoint system as much as I would have liked, it just teleports both slimes to their positions when they reached the checkpoint. Thanks for your understanding and I'm glad you liked it <3

Clever puzzles, great mechanic, although until you get a feel for the controls it is very hard!

I just checked your game out and holy cow! I can't believe we managed to make our games very much alike. Everything is so similar that it's kind of creepy :D and it feels like I'm your clone in a parallel universe or something :). Glad you enjoyed my game, or should I say your game ;) I guess great minds do think alike :D

Nice game loop ! Reminds me of Getting Over It a little bit. I like the audio, it brings a happy atmosphere and doesn't get repetitive soon. Well done !
