Concept is great, but i'd suggest to get rid of the side bar ui for better experience. And i do love the level design, i did play through all of'em, well done. But i'd suggets if the top screen character could have different ability for variety level design.

Developer

Glad you liked the level design, thanks for the feedback!

Great Concept. Once I realised  what to do, it was  a lot of fun. Well done.

Would suggest re-working on the UI.

BTW, Would love for you to try my game too.

It is an Action Platformer with unique controls.

Hey, we agree that the UI needs some work. Thanks for the feedback!

I think this is one of the better implementations of the "control multiple characters at once" idea. I like how "disabling" one side is used to construct puzzles where you have to get everybody into position to get past otherwise insurmountable obstacles. I consider it a good sign when a game jam game makes me want more levels of it, and that is very much the case with this game.

Developer

I think it's an incredible compliment for a game jam when someone says they want more levels. That's awesome, thank you!

This was really cool. The platforming felt great, and toggling the soundtracks along with each timeline was a fantastic touch. My only gripe is that the UI was sometimes a little difficult to parse. It might be good to add some text there, or maybe a level complete pop-up. Either way, nice work! This was a fun one.

Hey morrilet, we definitely think the UI needs some work as well. Thanks for the feedback!

Very fun concept and really makes you think about how to solve some of these obstacles since their movements are joined together. Meaning you have to approach them almost throwing away what you've learned about platformers in general and see physics in a new way. :D

Developer

Great feedback, thank you!

Good puzzles and platforming felt smooth for the most part. I really liked the dash but I found it a bit uncomfortable to keep reaching for Shift.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!

Clever puzzle design! I got stuck at one point and had to give up because I'm smooth brain, but I really liked this. Great work!

Developer

Glad you liked the puzzle design, thanks for the feedback!

The core mechanic is interesting, I really liked the 2 musics for the 2 screens.

Developer

Glad you liked the music!

Really cool core concept, I love that being able to turn on and off the connection feels like a superpower at the start and very quickly becomes a tool that is very tricky to use properly.  Plus the music playing (or not) for the two different screens is a really good way show which characters are being controlled, and it's great original music!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, glad you like it!

Nice take on the combination of controlling to different characters, makes for a nice puzzle jump 'n run! Good work!

Developer

Glad you liked it!

A lot of fun, I liked the freedom to create ways to pass the level. Congratulations!

Glad you liked it, thanks for the feedback!

Interesting concept that needs a big brain. I found it difficult to play given the smaller screen sizes. They key to solving these puzzles is knowing the layout of the map. The smaller screen spaces deny that information, or at least makes it tedious. I don't think there's any way around it, but maybe some more hints or guidance would help.

Developer

Hey Usara! I definitely agree that an easier way of finding where everything is on the map would help make solving the puzzles a lot more manageable. Thanks for the feedback!

Really nice done! good entry

Developer

Thank you!

Really cool and complicated idea. Take a while to learn how to start the game. But it is fun to play after that.

Developer

Glad you liked it, Fhy, thanks for the feedback :)

Wow, really cool and clever idea, with fun and interesting levels too!

Developer

Glad you liked the levels, Yword, thanks for the feedback!

Really interesting concept and well executed too. Would love to see where else the idea can go

Developer

Thanks KobaltK!

Pretty cool. The character reminds me of the robot with the ball from League of Legends. Some things to note, there's some flickering frames in the run and some of the foreground elements blend into the background.

Developer

Hey Lame Duck Studios! We had some problems getting all of the sprites layered correctly, which is probably causing some of the weird graphical stuff you mentioned. Thanks for the feedback!

Nice game, but I think it needs more polish

Developer(+1)

Definitely agree, thanks for the feedback!

Submitted(+2)

Nice idea. The first two levels don't require much thinking, which is a shame because the third one is really nice.

Developer

Hey, the first two levels are meant to be more "tutorial-y" in nature. If you were to desync in those levels, they get infinitely more challenging. But, if you stay synced across the two, they're much easier. So, they can be anywhere from really hard (de-synced) to fairly straightforward (synced). It really depends on each player, their approach, and how they think. It's definitely good to keep in mind though, thanks for the feedback!

Pretty tricky! But I had a good time playing this game.

Developer

Glad you had fun!
