There are two characters (Salt and Pepper) They need to get together, so the player will control both characters to the the same platform to win (joined together), if one of the characters die he lose the game

The character movement is very weird
I struggled with the controls a bit, but I did like the unique take on it. Three tiny jumps in the air created an interesting movement for traversal, and I found it fun! A little unwieldy at times, and it took a bit of getting used to, but I didn't mind it too much. The art is very cute and effective, and there was a great use of sound design that enhanced the art and gameplay. I was so happy to reunite those two each time. Good job!
The game looks and sounds really nice! I think you did an amazing job on the characters. I also think they fit the theme really nicely, Salt and Pepper go hand in hand :)
As others have said, the platforming is really tough. The jumps are too floaty, you walk on ice, the double jumps reset mid-air. I saw you mentioned you have a fixed version. Looking forward to playing that.
Nonetheless, you submitted a game in 48h!! Congrats to that.
Nice art, music and sfx. The gameplay however is something I don't understand, the platforming is quite frustrating. Am I missing something?

The jumping momentum is something that just does not feel good even once you understand how it works. This is rather buggy on several fronts like clipping into the table, gaining jumps out of nowhere, and being unable to land on your buddy despite not falling through them. I think a little polish could go a long way on this one, and I can't deny I loved your aesthetic here <3

yes actually there are some bugs I fixed, I will update the game when the jam ends
I like the music and the cute visuals. The fact that the player's horizontal movement is cancelled out when they jump feels like was unintended. I feel like there could be better ways of making the game more difficult other than limiting the controls.
This is awesome! The game has really solid mechanics, but I think the movement is a little too difficult right now. The visuals are very nice and UI is also well designed. Great job!!
This is something I see a lot of - UI's are built for 1 specific resolution and do not properly orient or scale based on the screen they are played on. Recommend always checking that before you get too far into your UI building.
On to the game - fun idea, but tricky to play. I'm not sure how many jumps I was supposed to have but I kept being able to get more than 2? Also I did not like that my horizontal movement was halted after a jump, would be nice to decouple those 2 movement speeds.

The game is similar to one of the brackeys Game, I forgot what the name is. But this game is kind of harder, the movement is harder, but it's really challenging to play this game.

The game has very charming visuals, but as it is now is much too difficult to play. I'm looking forward to that update so I can play through more of the game.
The visual are really cute, but the movement is so hard. And having good movement is very important in platformers.

The game is interesting for sure, but I kept hitting the table from the underside of the platform by mistake and ending the level early

I struggled with the controls but I like the idea of the game. And the characters were really cute! I played it here:
I really like the art style and the general atmosphere of the game, but I have to agree with others that the characters control a bit wonky. It was also a bit easy to bypass most of the platforms in the levels with the amount of double jumps given, though I do like what the characters do when I get them to do the right thing.
I loved the art and idea behind this game! If you plan on working on this in the future, something I would touch on is letting the player have more control over where the characters are moving. It felt that I was very limited in where I was allowed to move. Other than that, this game has a lot of potential! Great work!
Very weird and strange controls.
Why does it have to be on a single press of a keyboard for the character to move, instead of holding it down? It was quite confusing at the start, due to lack of instruction, but I quickly got used to it.
It's a good game with potential, just needs a little polishing.
