I really like that this feels different from most jam games, but still fits the theme. It's a nice take on the shepherding game. I had a hard time figuring out what I needed to do to beat the level. I think it was a superb design idea to have a con to making it sunnier to produce more clouds, that was neat. I wish I had known how to beat the level because I think it's a nice relaxing game with potential. If you develop this more post-jam I'd advise adding a tutorial, a nice chill soundtrack & maybe more wind strength could make for a fantastic relaxing game. Props for making a game! If you could stop by & rate ours, that'd be swell. :P
The game was very unique. I liked the ideas in the game a lot; hotter weather means more evaporation but also could destroy clouds more easily because of the faster speed of the sun and mild weather is safer for clouds but clouds form at a slower rate, pretty neat. I love how every decision has a catch. However, the execution itself could've been handled a bit better. The winds we could create was very weak which made guiding clouds a bit difficult. You had to press the button for a long amount of time to guide the clouds. What's more is that it takes a lot of time to figure out what to do yourself. It'd be great if you could have a tutorial which explained all the mechanics. Leaving the tutorial in the description of your game is never a good idea.
Summary: Unique idea and decisions had consequences both good and bad which made the game interesting. However, execution could've been improved and a much needed tutorial was missing.
Hope your day is good sir/madam :)
Really quite a fun little game! Little bit unclear what to do on level 3 and the AI could be a funny sometimes, but I love how original it was!
Interesting idea. Eazy to understand controls.
There is problem when cloud fly out of screen and people try follow it ignoring new cloud I drove to them (Maybe the one out of screen was closer, I'm not sure)
While there are some good thoughts in here, the confusing first set of interaction did set me back. I came back to it later with a fresher mindset and had a much better time. The game would benefit so much from some tutorial or at least player hints, and would love to see a post-jam polished version. :)
Can't get the game to run but assume it will be great.
