How does your game fit the theme?
The spaceship is constontly out of control, and when you hit a astroid your spacecraft spins out of control. (Omg the bugs are out of control)

Yes

We created all art during the game jam

Did your team create the audio for this game during the 48 hour time slot?

Wow!
Really liked the concept, so fun!

I feel like this was A LOT to do in just 48 hours!
Also, i know is pre-existing, but i loved how the music fits!

Developer

Thanks so much! we only used like 20-30 hours of the 48 hour limit.. so yea it was alot but we had a team of 4 so ye Lol, :D ty anyways

I see lots of potential here, it's a cool concept but there are definitely some challenges in the current version.   Great work on such a massive scale for 48 hours, you really should push this further and see what comes out of it in the end.

I like the concept you have going on here, but it can get really wonky. Once the ship hits an asteroid, I start flying to the ceiling and can't get back down, and sometimes I'll even start flying outside of the ship. After a few tries, though, I found out how to get to the turret, and it then just became a game of shooting all the asteroids.

If you continue to work on this, I think it would be a cool idea to turn this into a multiplayer experience, where you have one player on the bottom level controlling the movement, and the second player on the top level controlling the turret. Cool concept overall, and I think it'd be a cool game to continue expanding.

The idea behind it is ingenious, but once the ship was tilted I couldn't move around. Not sure why.

Developer

Lol, becuz the game is out of control, I mean we dont want to fix these bugs because they are apart of our game, anyways Thanks so much, we will keep devving this game after the voting ends so stick around.. :D

I got all stressed at first then realized I could take my time :)

Had to read the game page only to realize how simple.

Took some time but got the gist and then had fun playing.

Never played anything with this mechanic

Developer

Hahha, Thanks so much for your comment! we will be countining this jounery of the Voyager, so ingame tutorials and stuff will be added :D

I like the idea of really piloting a spaceship in first person instead of just the usual WASD. Very cool concept! The button is a little buggy but it's all good, the game is still fun. Good job!

Developer

Thanks so much! our excuse to everything is its all out of control lol :D

It was really hard for me to actually hit the buttons, but I really like the idea! I never managed to make it to the planet, but I was definitely getting some Grow Home vibes. It seems like you'll continue developing, once this is polished up I bet it's going to be super cool, good job!

Developer

Thanks so much :D

Game crash's dont know why ;-;

Hey, this is a neat little concept! I hopped right into the game without reading the game page and for probably 3-ish minutes, I went around hitting buttons to find out most of them didn't do anything (at least, I couldn't tell if they did anything). I also didn't understand my goal or what I was supposed to be doing at first, which made the experience confusing for me.

After reading the game page and understanding my goal, I revisited the turret. In my first visit before reading the game page, I took control, fired a few times, and just kinda left it because I assumed it was just there for fun. After reading the game page, I started actually trying to aim at asteroids, but didn't see the aiming reticle for the cannon this time. I stopped controlling it, started controlling it again, and now I saw it. I noticed the bullets that got fired off didn't line up very close to where the reticle showed me aiming and I believe this is a bug. I also discovered shortly after that, that the cannon goes off of my crosshair instead of the giant in-game reticle for destroying asteroids.

My play time in this game was spent mostly being confused before reading the game page. That being said, I think this is a fun concept that could be really fun with an in-game tutorial that teaches you the game and shows you your goal. I also think more consistency with game mechanics like destroying asteroids would make the experience more enjoyable as well. I think this is a good proof of concept to get started on further development, if you choose to do so :)

Thanks so much, we will defintly be contuning develepment on this game! Your suggestions will make this game alot better after the game jam, thanks for your suggestions!

I like the balancing of having to set the course of the ship! Unfortunately when I was trying to blast my way through the asteroids my character was thrown around in the blast tower which made it really hard to play. I really like the idea of having to physically walk around to change the course of the ship though!

Really like the whole interacting with multiple spaceship controls thing; missed some stronger feedback for activating/deactivating systems and wasn't able to get very far in yours without getting yeeted through the walls into space, so I'm looking forward to an updated version if you do that!

Cheers and congrats on the submission!

Thanks so much :D

This game as a VR or multiplayer experience would be fantastic. I loved the chill vibes, too. As a fan of slow sci-fi movies, it was pretty cool to experience space in this calmly paced in this way.  I was a little confused on certain aspects, but eventually I got the hang of it. The only thing I couldn't understand was how to aim the ship vertically to my destination. A few times I just got stuck on the ceiling and didn't know what to do!

You mentioned on your page that his is a proof of concept, so as that I think it really stands up. I can see you doing a ton with this premise. Thanks for sharing it with me! I had a reeeeal chill time... when I wasn't careening out of control haha

Thanks so much :D, hopefully after the game jam we will countine!

It took me a short while to understand what was going on but I really enjoyed how the spaceship's floor also turns around adding to the challenge of even going to the next button to turn an engine on or off!

fun game ! a little bit to easy once you understand the controls and there are a few bugs but th'ats normal for a game jam game I loved the concept, and that you must run around to do certain things, please continue developing this game.

Developer

Thanks so much! our excuse for the bugs is the bugs are completly out of control!! :D, Hopefully after the game jam we will contunie!

It's great, I love the idea of having to run around pressing the buttons rather than conventional controls. The looks were great but being able to clip through stuff was jarring. I think it would play better if instead of getting launched out of the ship, asteroids sent your ship spinning so you would have to correct.

Developer

Thanks so much! (The bugs are out of control woah) hehe, After the game jam we may contunie and hopefully one day we will publish this game, possibly completly reworked and polished, idk! Ty anyways!

Submitted(+1)

Fun game! I struggled with getting thrown from the spaceship anytime i hit an asteroid, but once I got the hang of it, i stopped hitting asteroids, so things got a bit better.
