Really good entry! I'm really glad you had variance on the whistling with how much I ended up using it, the variance kept if from getting stale. The audio and visual design were really solid! If I were to suggest ways of improvement I would say a checkpoint system would have been nice, having to redo the entire game because of a small mistake was a bit harsh. The one way door mechanic was a fantastic idea to allow for interesting level design with this mechanic!

Great work!

Developer

Fair point. We didn't have enough time to write a checkpoint system. But we definitely learned enough during this jam for a different approach for the next jam.

Thanks for playing our game!

This game makes me go YES! Nice game!

Developer

Hahaha, YES! Thanks!

Good job! I liked the concept. Some thoughts I had were for the darkness and switching players. It would've been much better if the darkness wasn't there and instead you saw everything and a dotted circle around the human to see the range, and a better switching system to the other players. Maybe clicking on them or using arrows to swap maybe? Otherwise Great Job!

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! Not seeing to whom your changing is definitely a problem. The current implementation just changes to the closest other minion. But you're right we need a different mechanic or a better visual feedback system.

That was a great idea! I enjoyed a lot!
The end's bug  is super normal. My submission have some bugs too. I hope to get the version without it after the voting period.

Developer

Haha, yeah, it's tough getting everything ready to ship at the end of the 48h. We fixed the bug mere minutes after sending in our submission. It's such a shame, the bug is so noticeable :P

I like it! Makes me wonder why the enemies are luring this poor guy further into the dungeon.

Developer(+1)

Hehe, the backstory we had in our minds was that the hero is this kind of dumb character that wants to be a great adventurer. But you have to help him achieve his goal by leading him in the right direction. We didn't really get any further than that during the jam, but I agree that a well thought out backstory would really give the game more feel.

Really cool concept! The assets used also fit super well. I had fun, Good job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing our game! We're unsure if we wanted to keep these assets, but we're receiving a lot of positive reviews, so we might. We'll see :P

Cool concept! I took a few to understand that you are the "bad guys", but once I understood it the gameplay went nice! Interesting idea, nice top-down puzzle. Good job!

Developer

We intentionally wanted the player to get that "Aha!" moment, when he figured out who he was controlling. I'd like to get your take on that further, did you find it frustrating or were you pleasantly surprised by it?

Thanks for playing our game!

The mix of some 2D and 3D is very nice. This hero is really stupid and I like it ;)  It took me one minute to figure out how to play and after this minute the game was quite fun ! Controlling the hero with the help of the enemies is fun and the sounds are great. Playing your game was nice, it was not too difficult and the bug at the end is a bit frustrating but it's a 2 days work so it's completely understandable.

Developer

Thanks! The 3D view was a spur of the moment idea. Where my co-dev changed the camera angle and we both agreed it looked better. It was a top-down 2D game before that.

I'm glad you like the setting and theme for our game. That bug is horrible! We're still hitting ourselves over the head for missing that one.

An interesting art style. The concept has potential.

Developer

Thanks we had a lot of different ideas for level design. Like for example the hero in one room, and the minion in other room and by operating levers and buttons, make the hero go to the place you want.

But due to time constraints we weren't able to implement this.

A fun and funny concept, I definitely enjoyed it.

This was a clever take on the theme, thanks for making it!

I'm not very good at this game it seem, but I very much enjoyed it. :D I really like the concept and it we well executed. Especially when you can switch and necome more people, although after a while I found myself very amused just my leading the enemy around in circles. Well done

Developer

Hahaha, I'm glad you enjoyed our game!

Really cute style! Nice job!

I feel like indirect control is the trend this year, and it is really well executed in this game

Developer

Thank you for the kind words! We really appreciate it. We ran into time constraints at the end, and didn't get to finish everything we made, but really appreciate your feedback!

Cool concept, nice job. The art style is also really nice, might be the prettiest 3d game I have seen up till now.

Developer

Thanks! I'm sure there will be better ones that you haven't seen yet :D

Such an interesting core mechanic. Took me a minute to figure out who I even was lol
Definitely something worth developing further!

Developer

Thanks! We're so glad, you experienced it the way we intended it :D
