This was a funny concept. I found it difficult to get the “friends” all the way to their destination without getting hit by obstacles, but I also didn’t feel I had any consistent means of protecting them. That being said, the voxel art for this game was very pretty, the music gave off pretty appropriate “alien” vibes and I can definitely see the different skillsets of the team represented in the final product! :D

Cute and cozy! I like how the movement feels floaty like a ghost, and interacting with things is super easy. The music and sounds were super relaxing. The cat’s shop was giving me some trickster vibes.

This game is so cute! The gameplay is super simple, the “court” gimmick is hilarious, and the music and sounds all fit together really nicely.

Makes me nostalgic for old Wii party games.

I really like the puzzle-strategy gameplay of this game, especially how that plays out with unlocking new “hero” characters to play as. It was also really satisfying when it clicked that there’s a kind of “rock, paper scissors” element to which units you attack with which hero.

All around really fun, thanks for making this!

This was so genuinely fun to play. The writing was super funny with it’s tongue-in-cheek MLM sales-pitches, the art was all very pretty, and the gameplay was positively addicting. And that’s all despite it not having music or sound effects, impressive!

This is super impressive! I especially love that you made it so you can step through every part of the process, makes it really educational.

I loved that I could make the tiles smaller or larger, I could easily imagine playing a whole catan-like game built off of this :o

I love the variety of different backgrounds, some of them feel like truly surreal locations for a cyberpunk city.

Makes me wanna continue the city generator I was working on a while back… >.<

Thanks for the feedback! We’re definitely interested in getting to that point as well. :D

Love it! The sound effects for using your grapple hooks were quite satisfying, the music is pleasant, and the levels pretty accurately fit the difficulty levels communicated.

My main thought was that the utility of having two grapple hooks wasn’t super obvious to me.

So cute! Love the art style (including the itch page). The gameplay is pretty straightforward, though there were cases where the sheep would either get stuck or just never stop moving, particularly on the second level. It was short and sweet so that was no biggy, though.

Slick XD

Fun little project! Main thing I thought to suggest was just some keyboard shortcuts for saving and the like.

Thanks! XD

We had a sort of prop-hunt inspired vision in mind but we just couldn't find the time to properly work on it for the jam.  That and Godot's softbody physics are quite finicky lol, took me ages!

Cute, fun, and more challenging than I expected!

I like the feedback of the UI and the intentional chaos of managing so many different lines criss-crossing the screen.

Fantastic!  I left a comment on the main game page, but everyone here put it way better than I did. :D

This is so cool!  The movement feels fluid and precise yet unique and I like the way the little floaty creature is incorporated into it.  On top of that the art is stylistic and mysterious.  Again, love it!

I can definitely see the influences in there!

10/10 would relate again DX

Basically Happy Wheels, but the bike dad became the human torch and went through a grueling college degree (aka espresso depresso).

Thanks for trying it out!  Yeah I'm not surprised some pesky bugs popped up... I've held myself back from swapping the drive files out with fixes in the spirit of the game jam.

But you're right, definitely needs some audio to spice things up;  I'm already itch.ing to keep working on it! :D

Thanks for checking it out!  Admittedly I still haven't actually gotten the chance to see how it plays, so some feedback on that would be super helpful.  😁

I really enjoyed experimenting-- the block coding for making your genome is pretty neat! :D

So well crafted!  I can tell from your submission that you really knew what your were doing.  : )

Soooo cool!

I'm not usually into this style of gameplay, but I could definitely keep playing with the great music and artstyle.  I love how you can get your character to keep orbiting, so that it rewards you for getting better at the game. :D

So stressful and fun :P

So fun and really polished-- I love the control changing mechanic.  :D

Fun, original, and well made.  Had the frantic feeling of games like Dumb Ways To Die! : )

The controls are listed in the "info" section when you boot up the game : )

A fun and funny concept, I definitely enjoyed it.

This was a clever take on the theme, thanks for making it!

Perfect fit for this jam... gamifies the player's lack of control.

I agree with jhaych, this is super interesting.  The music really gives it a polished and kinda spooky feel that contrasts with the words on the screen, and I really like the idea of giving up control in order to progress.  (it's simple, yet really elegant!)

Thank you so much for letting me know!  I should have tested it first-- I'll see if I can get around the upload freeze, then try to ping ya'll somehow.  I've added a temporary google drive link that might work until I get things sorted out.

This is what I get for pulling an all-nighter XD

Wow so simple yet genius XD

Awkwardly charming -- an entertaining concept XD

Well done all around from concept to design!  :D

Really cool concept!  When I realized the drawings were left behind by other players... well, anyway I'm the green dot on the left knee.  XD

Lol but "technically" it was only one second :P

I'll go try your game out XD

I'm not entirely sure about other roguelikes (because I cannot think of many that move on a grid off the top of my mind), but perhaps allowing the player to hold down the arrow keys when moving would help.  That would also allow for the diagonal movement I just discovered with the mouse.  In terms of making that feel precise-- maybe think about something like pokemon's world movement?  If it was needed you could even limit controls to individual presses during combat.

I'd say the same a Koveras-- definitely one of the coolest games I've tried today!  My only complaint is that repeatedly pressing arrow keys to walk around can start to feel a little tedious when not fighting monsters (I actually really like the  strategy of the combat).  Feels like something that could be a blast to play!

Oh yes, and the sound effects and camera movement give it a rather appropriate "lumbering monster" feel.
