This is a neat concept, with some impressively fleshed out systems! The inventory items were real charming; any time I saw the inventory option I immediately selected it, wondering what the guard might be holding! This is the kinda concept that I feel has a ton of potential, so if you're thinking about developing this further, I say go for it.
Great game idea. It's wild how you did so much in 48 hours, and considering you did the art too! However, the UI is really bad, with the amount of different buttons used (Shift, Ctrl, Backspace and Enter). Probably should just allow the player to use a mouse, or add a back option when controlling minds.
Excellent puzzel game, especially the statuses. Art was awesome, other a few small movement issues which you already acknowledged it was flawless controls. Really neat little concept that can be almost infinitely expanded on, can't wait to see more.
this game is pretty cool! i like the concept and the pixel art is very good too, with a bit of polishing it will became Amazing! rated! please check out my game too :D
Very cool concept ! I liked it a lot :)
And very cool you managed to do all this in 48h !
This was a well executed, super cute game! I loved the variations in your options when you hacked enemies, and the level design was great! The final level took me a couple of attempts, but it was well worth it. The art style is memorable and simple, and I'd love to see how the game could be expanded post jam. Good job!
Really fun game with a lot of deep strategy and a surprisingly large amount of content for only 48 hours! The mind control idea seemed interesting at first but as soon as you introduced inventory and attacking I was solved. I think the main way to improve the game is with better UI. Probably allow the player just to click the enemy to select them and their actions. Also you should probably display their inventory into a box next to the enemies so you can see at a glance what they have. Overall the game was really fun and the concept was very original, with a bit more polishing I think this game could become a huge success, amazing work!
Really cool gameplay! Running around and manipulating the guards with a limited amount of "control" makes for a very neat puzzle game. Game is pleasant to look at too!
One suggestion I do have though is potentially some form of icon for what guards have items on them and which items those are. As of now it can be tedious to go over every guard to do an inventory count on them.
Thanks! I actually totally agree, it's something I've been thinking about if I decide to build out the game further
So cute! Really great presentation and visual polish, added aspects like the command line showing at the top really go a long way with the feel of the game. Difficulty curve was well done, made me think but never feel frustrated. I did get the previously mentioned bug on 3 which caused the game to crash, but on the bright side I enjoyed the game enough to relaunch and play-through again!
Great entry! I liked the different distractions. I just wish it would be a little more open, as it felt a lo like having to follow just one solution.
Thanks for the feedback! That's definitely a goal I had in mind, but kind of ran out of time after building the more limited tutorial-y levels. Level 5 does have a few possible paths, but not as much as i planned
Cool game! Nice art style, solid gameplay and good UI. Little buggy but overall nicely done!
Very neat, I liked the pixel art and the different control options! I would recommend having a better control scheme (my instinct was always to use escape to go back instead of backspace), like maybe using number keys over each guard to select them, although it would be difficult to give up using the control key. Perhaps holding down Ctrl could bring up the control menu and a different number over each hedgehog, and then Ctrl + N would initiate control over Hedgehog N?
Great concept and cute art! good job :)
One of the levels had a heartbroken hedgehog and it is SO. FRICKIN. CUTE!! The game starts out pretty easy to teach the controls and then gets harder and harder. Very cool concept and nice work!!
Hit a crash in level 3 when trying to select something that looked like it was under the ground. Other than that, pretty cool, nice work!
Thanks! Yeah that's a known bug that I just didn't manage to fix before submitting. The solution ended up being so simple too... >_<
