Heyho! Sorry, mate, I can't seem to get the game to work...
Sorry it seems your game isn't working on my computer (crash when I open it).
Thanks for trying, if you have the time to try again you could try installing the directX june 2010 redistributable (included in game download).
The ship felt good to control and the game itself is pretty fun, nice job!
I do feel that the one button controls feel a bit undeveloped in the sense that it's barely noticeable that you can only use one action at a time! As an example, if you'd make Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime a single player game, then that game would fit the theme in the exact same way your game does, however the act of physically moving from one control station to the next would have been far more noticeable of a difference than just 'you can only press one button at a time'. Perhaps you could have made some other, more interesting way of toggling between the different actions of the ship? As a really simple suggestion, maybe if you pressed the button then it would switch through the different actions and if you held the button it would use the currently equipped action? Idunno, just some food for thought. However, regardless of that the ship is super fun to control and the little enemies that latch onto your ship are really fun and creative! I definitely had fun playing your game, so good job!
Thanks for taking the time to write something in depth, I think you are pretty on point as well.
I like it, not super difficult and pretty straight forward. I enjoyed the feel of the ship and having to aim your ship separate from boosting.
I do long for a checkpoint system.
Good job, 48 hours is a tough time constraint!
I like this! It's frustrating at times, but it's fun!
Perhaps you should make the obstacles different, it would be super cool if there was 3d models and a 2d sprite.
But great job considering you made this game in 48 hours.
Check out our game if you haven't I would really appreciate it!

I've installed DirectX (June 2010) redistributable and restarted my computer but It still doesn't run :\
Thanks for trying, I'm not sure how to solve the issue.
I loved those little ships that latch on, nice original enemy design. Game could have done with a few extra mechanics to really make you feel the restriction of only being able to use one input at a time. But I had lots of fun, cool game!
Interesting concept! I really like the retro style and sound. Great job with the ship physics. Just the right amount of slipperiness. Also the little guys that latch on to you and drag you around were really cool. I loved that in order to get them off of me I had to smash them into a wall or have a missile take them out!
I do wish there was a checkpoint system, though! I couldn't get past the part with all the turrets because the bullets keep pushing me back!
Overall I think there's a lot of potential here. With a bit more refinement you could really drive home the barely-functioning ship idea, which is great. Nice work!
Thank you so much for playing and giving feedback. I had checkpoints next on the todo list but just ran out of time. The tons of turrets is all I could manage in the time for a finial challenge but maybe was a bit too hard.
Your engine is damaged and you only have one power crystal left so you can only activate one system at a time (press one button).
W - thrust
A & D - rotate
S - shield
E - run life support
