super fun enjoyable idea on a platformer. I think there's some things that could really be improved on however.

You have a really nice soundtrack going, and if its long enough honestly i would keep it so its looping without pause at death. this will give the player to enjoy the entire melody while trying to figure out the simple controls of the platformer. to you the game might seem easy but for others they might struggle. so this might be a nice little extra for your game to make it more enjoyable. restarting a melody over and over might want me to mute the game then continue to listen to the audio.

your jingles and audio cues are spot on for collecting coins and going over the musical notes. I think the sounds though are a little overwhelming compared to the music. You have this really nice chill relaxing melody in the background that gets overwhelmed by jingles that are a bit to loud. i think you could reduce those sounds by about 50% keeping them nice soft jingles.

then maybe something to consider with the musical note areas, I'm not sure how advanced your audio skills are, but if you could in a way split your music tracks in a way so when you go over the little notes, it would match up or blend in with your background music more. You could even pause the main audio and focus on little music jingles within that note sector.

Really awesome and fun! great job

oh god thanks for taking your time writing this entire review. I find that the changes you propose are very easy to implement. and in fact I will implement them. maybe the one I don't implement is making the music a loop. because the level is designed to advance along with the music. that is why it repeats itself upon death. maybe I should make some adjustments to the level design to make it easier. obviously my game is very easy for me. but I should have taken into account all the players. I also don't think it's super complicated, although it might be frustrating. Thank you very much for taking your time!

yep just even a bit easier of a start so you get to hear like the first 30 seconds would be a good option too. I did notice as you progressed it didn't start over at the exact beginning so I figured that was a part of level design and maybe a bit difficult to change.

A very sweet game with a nice palette. I really like how dream-like it is.

This game is amazing! very polished and reminds me geometry dash :).

It’s very friendly and need only execute the difficulty parts, good.

Many thanks Fiwon! Gotta play your game ^^

Nice runner ! Great idea and amazing mechanics, however, the notes on which you walk on spoil a bit the soundtrack imo. Great entry though ! Congrats !

Thanks for the feedback, what you say about the musical notes is true although I liked the idea too much to remove it, I consider that it makes the stage less monotonous, although there are other ways to give life to a stage that seemed the best in the moment, tunnel vision i guess ^^"

Stellar job! I love the overall idea and the art & animations are really well done and give it a nice flow along with the lovely music.

I love when the environment reacts musically to the player, it adds to the relaxing mood. Very solid and well presented game, congrats!

Pirouetting is so relaxing and effortless! And Claire De Lune really shines when timed with getting coins. It reminded me a little of Rhythm Tengoku.

I agree with some of the comments below- the death can be jarring- and goes a bit against the flow of Debussy. Maybe just a penalty to points?

Lots of variety in art and gameplay for such a short game! The whole aesthetic is lovely, though the abrupt way you die can be a little jarring.

Developer(+1)

Many thanks for the feedback, you're right, maybe the death animation won't quite fit in the game

Beautiful game! Simple gameplay with very nice art, I loved this game! I will try to make a better ranking next time. 😆

What a beautiful piece of art :') this graphics/musics combination is really neat !!

Very good job!

This is so beautiful and stylish!

Fell in love with the running and spinning animations. The game is already super fun and still has a lot of potential.

Every now and then I would get confused about the path forward. Also, I felt like the SFX was not mixing up very nicely with the music. So there’s room for improvement there I think :)

Awesome game, congrats!

Beautiful! soothing and amazing use of music/notes incorporated in the game. Love the look too, nice job! very enjoyable... but makes me sleepy for some reason....

Developer(+1)

Maybe is the bg music ^^ i wanted to achieve a soothing but fun experience, i hop you felt it playing the game, many thanks ^^

Very soothing!

Fun game and it looks really nice!

A lot of polishing on this one. Even as an auto-runner, it has many few things to keep our attention. My only regret is that it could have been even better if the SFX were synchronised (or part of) the music (but it's me being a little picky ^^). Great job, it was fun and relaxing at the same time :).

This was a huge blast and man that Debussy Piece always gets me. Give me a small tear to just enjoy the music and have a good time playing this game! Excellent job!

Developer

Many thanks! Claire de lune is my favourite Debussy's piece, I am moved to have made you shed a tear ;u;

Lovely aesthetic with great pixel art. I liked the musical score you can run on and that the dancer changes movement patterns.

Developer

Many thanks! your game is awesome too :D

Man... what a great smoothness pixel art and relaxing game! That level of level design is absurd for a platform game. In the begining of the game I was expecting a "infinity run" experience, BUT NOT! You did it yourself. A really good entry, dude. Congratulations!

Developer

Many thanks for the good review bros ;-;
