Nice work. The pixel art and retro feel were great. Controls felt tight and responsive. I liked the two different level themes. A few blind jumps caught me out. Would be good to have some feedback when defeating guards, but understandable as time constraints mean you have to limit things.

Nice graphic and sound. My suggestion is add feedback either hitting or gethit or dying.

Great looking game with smooth controls!

The vision is limited, it might be better to position the camera further ahead rather than centered on the character herself. As it is now there are a lot of blind jumps which can lead to danger, but to the game's credit those jumps usually lead to safety instead. There's one search light per level which caught me unaware.

Some important information which isn't immediately given to the player is the ability to jump on the guard's to defeat them. It would also be nice to track the gems per level rather than just the gems collected. Having 5/10 encourages more  exploration. Though in the rooftop section this is less of an issue. (Unless I missed secret stashes.) I final score tally at the end would be great, too! Otherwise how will I know how much swag is in that bag?

This game need a animation when a guard is defeated. For example, the "fall of hell" of Super Mario Bros.

Also, would be better that the camera show more, because I must do many jumps of faith in the second level.

Oh great art this game had.  Played really well. I think the collission for the guards need to be fix at times it would come off caught when jump at them or so.  Great game you have here.

Very solid game, was fun! I didn't realize the spotlight was a spotlight, I thought it was smoke and was confused why smoke caught me LOL. That's on me though!

Love the pixel art, the characters are very cute,  Pretty tight jumping mechanics and it's nice to see two levels with very different themes.  Good job!

This seems like a pretty polished, tight game. But I have to say, what drew me to it was the title! "Yoink!" just reminds me of The Simpsons, haha! Anyway, congratulations on your submission!
