Wow one of the most unique visuals of all the games I've played in the submission. I absolutely loved the quirky aesthetics especially in the second room it felt very Tim Burtonesque. The voice acting was really impressive and helped with such a story driven game. Great experience!
Interesting concepts and engaging story, really liked it and nice job on this game!
Intensely ambitious story-driven experience with beautiful art and a nice combination of cute and creepy atmosphere. Pretty successfully tells a story about how hard it is to grow up, depression, and overcoming inner demons. Totally understand this is a jam game, but navigating the different areas and figuring out what to interact with and when was often confusing and a little frustrating, and interrupted the flow of the narrative. But also, sometimes helped create a sort of psychedelic experience that seemed to really fit the theme! Pretty amazing project, gratuliere!
(edit) also meant to say that the control scheme is confusing, because you can only do some things with keyboard and others with mouse. For example, seems like you should be able to advance dialogue with keyboard as well as mouse.
That game was a trip, dude XD
That imaginary friend had some eerie moments in the early game!
But seriously, all of you did an excellent job crafting one of the more special submissions here. The art is AMAZING, I LOVE that you have voice acting, and the narrative was compelling! I would have liked to have seen Sophia's response to our letter, but still, fantastic work!!
The art and atmosphere in this game is top top shelf! And you did a fantastic job with the storytelling. Really excellent game!
Really cool. At first I thought there might be a jump scare or this is going to be a horror game. Turns out it’s a game with a very positive message. One feedback I would give is that perhaps consider adding subtitle. Nice work!
I love narrative games like this that leave you thinking after. The aesthetics are gorgeous, I love that art style and going into it blind, I was expecting horror and found relatable. It was an unexpected but welcomed twist. Love this game, it's in my fave jam games collection for sure. Oh! And that effect where you went in and out of her mind was amazing!!!! I need to learn how to do that.

From the technical side it's not that hard to do (the Turn-Based Strategy course for example has something similar when the view focuses on one unit while firing and then back to the player's perspective). The hard part is coming up with when and how to make use of such a thing...
I'm newer to the developing world and make elaborate picture books lol 🤣 if I can get this bubble shooter I'm making to work, we'll be amazing so... To me it seemed amazing. I've actually seen two games this jam that have used the effect, both of which are on my profile as some of my favs jam games... It might be easy, but it doesn't make it less amazing to me. 😊🌹
Superb story and take on the theme. This is a really creative project and all the voice recording was awesome. I played it on my youtube and gave my reactions if you want to check it out, I was quiet just playing through it a lot of the time not because I wasnt in to it I was just focusing and wanting to see where it went. Really like this a lot. You have a future in writing stories.
Little bit surreal, but good because it's different. Playability could be better, but kept me intrigued till the end. Well done!
Movement feels a bit floaty, but maybe intentionally so...
When all movement and other interaction is by keyboard, so should closing the dialogue popups too...
You might want to make sure a voice over only plays once at a time, at one point (don't remember where though) I could hit the key for interaction and it played multiple times each time I pressed the key...
Holy shit! What an outstanding piece of art. I feel really fortunate that the submission feed surfaced it to me. It feels like there is a genuine message in here that could help a lot of people. The artwork is really outstanding, the voice-overs are done to a professional standard and the story is really quite meaningful. I had a few issues here and there with layering and it wasn't always clear that I needed to press space bar to progress the story along and movement could perhaps have been a bit faster, but these are really nit-picky, small considerations. You've produced something truly awesome for a 7-day game jam. It will undoubtedly be one of the highest ranking games in the jam. Amazing work.
Nice job! I like the art style, and the concept of the inner room during therapy sessions.
Wow, I really like the art and visuals of the game. There is an element of horror and mystery to the story. would love to see more of, currently I couldn't do anything on day 3. The sound and music is also well done. I love it.
