I suck at history, but I liked the game a lot! The images are really cool, and the sound that plays while we pick the events gives a strong feeling of desolation. The text that appears while ordering the events nicely adds to the post-apocalyptic vibe. I was a bit frustrated when my symphony was trashed by some big-headed creatures, but that's the downside of creative endeavors, right :D Good job on the entry!

I think the ending is really funny. I think it's a unique game that presents in a compelling way, very good job on it!
Oh boy, I am waaaay to bad at history for this. Interesting idea though and the pixel art images and music are great
A very nice immersion followed by great visuals and unique mechanics. I had fun every moment of it. Nice game, fun and great.
This wasn't exactly my intended message but it worked out well enough? (Too bad all the nice people are probably gone by the time aliens arrive...)
A very thought provoking experience!
We played this together in our jam group and were all really impressed with the amount of high quality artworks and really well produced music in this. We were wondering how you managed to create so many of these assets in such a short time, especially since you mention that they're hand made. Could you tell us just a little more about the workflow you used to make so much so quickly? I think we could all learn a thing or two haha
Also, really nice story, for me personally, that's even the strongest part as far as ratings are concerned. I also liked the puzzle based on music progression idea (though we got confused about the UI and in our first run didn't notice that the play buttons were clickable for some reason)
Thank you for your feedback !
Guim0ve handled the music, graphics and FMOD integration while I handled the rest of the code and unity polish like post process effect and all. If I find the time I may do a post-mortem where I explain our workflow for this project :p
And yeah I should have make a custom cursor with hover effect on interactive elements, it may have make things more simple
Wow, that music track is freaking epic, and I love tying it to historical events. I'll admit, I was hoping we'd watch the aliens watching a full slide show of the entire music track, and I wished there was a way to simply go back and try again with the same timeline if you got something wrong (I didn't realize the segments of the music track were being properly split up and tied to the events in order until my third try), but overall I think you made something super unique and cool. Well done!!
A fantastic game! The theme fits perfectly and the idea of recreating human history with music is fantastic! The sounds and art are also well realised.
10/10
An absolute banger! I don't normally bother with multiple endings in games, but I really wanted to keep going with this one, sadly there's still one I couldn't get, but I honestly might come back to take another stab at it, very well done!
This was a really cool idea for a game!! Love the ending too and how it's handled
Amazing music centric concept!
I would love to see where this could go.
Its just plain diffrent which is great.
Would be nice to have more tracks but the one you have is epic.
Keep it up!
That was very creative! I apparently failed. Probably with with stuff from the 1980s.
The graphics are amazing and the storytelling is very cool! Great suspenseful atmosphere. Well done!
This is one of the most creative games I have seen in this jam! I really like the visuals, the sounds, the music, and also the storytelling! You worked smart to make it short, simple and fun :)
Great Job!
Cool art and music! I was confused what the purpose of keeping vs skipping was in the first portion of the game. I think an option to go back and forth between the two portions of the game combined with the ability to swap kept selections with the remaining skipped options would add to the ease of difficulty. It might give a smoother and more relaxing gameplay/music-making experience, if that's what you want. Keep up the good work!
Hey thanks for playing and the feedback ^^
The goal is for the player to be kinda confused in the first screen of the game. Since there are multiple endings it encourages people to try the game multiple time and learn something each time, that's what we tried to do
But yes having a way to switch between screens would be cooler and easier to try things
This was a really cool experience! The music and art work together really well to establish a foreboding atmosphere that fits Last Stand theme.
