Wow, I never left a comment on this one? Crazy! I really enjoyed this text adventure, I thought it was very creative and told a cool little story. Well done! I'm making a short highlights video for YouTube about some of the games I found to be very compelling from the game jam, and I was hoping to add this one. If that's not okay, please let me know. Thanks again, keep it up! Looking forward to seeing more!
I'm so impressed you feel that way. It is definitely ok with me. I guess I could ask our team in case, but I doubt they would decline. I think that's great, send me the link to your video as well when it's ready, I would love to see it.
I thought it was a very unique and fun experience of the games I got to test out, and really stood out as one the best of the ones I've played so far when it comes to telling an actual story with dialogue. Good job to you and your team! Thanks!
I've asked my team and two of the other members already enthusiastically agreed with the idea of the game to be included in your video, and they would also like to see the link to the video when you're done with it. I don't have any reason to believe the remaining member would decline for any reason, they just didn't happen to be here right at this moment. The remaining member made the music, but I doubt they would decline, they are very likely to enthusiastically agree as well. We'd love to see your video and I appreciate your feedback a lot!
The remaining member also agrees so it's unanimous then. We'd love to see the video, you can even reply here with the link once you have it. I am really glad you found it compelling, and we'd love to see your video along with which other games you might have also felt that way about from this jam. Thank you so much!
Cool! I'm working on it right now, hopefully will have it up within the day. I am really really tempted to just go through the whole gamejam and make several highlights videos, but I'd have to see if I can prioritize that kind of thing in my schedule. I'll be happy to post it here!
Text adventures are so nostalgic! Great choice of music :) Stylish and fun! Great job!
Music very fitting with the aesthetic and interesting game :) didn't complete it as I didn't spend too much time but was a fun experience
I liked the mystery built up in the story and the various reactions/responses by the game (eg when looking at the whack-a-mole). Nice work! I managed to finish the game before entering room 3.
Glad you were able to do that. From some improvements I am considering, I wonder if you may be interested in a version where the winning ending doesn't come so easily. Thanks so much for playing the game and your feedback!
I liked the music and the idea alot! One thing that would maybe be very nice would be some kind of soundeffect if you press buttons/whack a mole etc. but I am unsure :,D but I was happy to beat it first try
I think it would be nice too, I may consider your suggestions in case we continue to work on this game after the jam.
Cool game! I loved the aesthetics and the story kept me hooked. Good job! :D
Well, it said I finished the game but I never figured out what is up with the fortune teller? Do tell. I liked the wacky nature of a lot of the text. "Look at the time" 馃槀
Thanks so much for playing! If it said you won the game, that is indeed all for now, but it's definitely not as elaborate as I would have wanted. If you felt so interested in the fortune teller and in case we continue to work on it after the jam, I bet you might like that version of the game.
Very interesting. Great music and game style. I have a Linux terminal style project on my list. I鈥檝e gained some ideas from playing your game. Well done!
I really liked the vibe though it seemed a little creepy and intriguing. I wasn't smart enough to figure out how to complete the puzzle though T_T . I need more clues to figure it out haha
Fantastic music! Fit perfectly. The whole story is interesting and a nice atmosphere even with the limited amount of visuals as a dialog driven game. The ending felt quite abrupt, wish there was more! :)
I didn't really know why I wanted to help the stranger find the teddy and why that was the climax. I also felt there would be something more ominous about the whole thing, felt a bit scary to me with the broken teddy and honestly fairs in general but maybe that's me.. :D
I hope I don't come across as harsh, was an intriguing experience and a well executed jam!
it's a nice game, different from what i has thought it would be. An option to lower the music would be nice. i couldn't find one.
The music absolutely has the right vibe for the fair and I enjoyed the writing a lot. Especially the embarrassed moles when looking at them - cute!
Nice visuals and music. I also couldn't figure out what the 3rd stand should do. Missed an item but I have already a teddy bear.
Didn鈥檛 except to get sucked into it as much as I did. I still couldn鈥檛 figure out if there is more to the third stand though, so a bit disappoitned, but this is more as a player and not a dev :)
But yeah, overal a nice unique game with interesting visuals and story! Good job!
I was not expecting a text adventure, but this was really interesting. I'd forgotten how fun this style of game can be. And that music was GREAT. Good job.
This is a fun and creative take on the theme! I've always enjoyed text-based adventures. Great job!
Text adventures never get old!
This was a really cool text adventure! I played it through to the end. Love the presentation of it too. Great submission!
Good text adventure, I couldn't work out what I needed for the fortune teller though. Ill try again.
Nice Music. Liked the mechanics. Keep up the good work :)
