Wow very impressive and fun tower defense game! The visuals were lovely and conveyed the idea of my friendly units (tower, collectors, walls) really effectively and I liked the enemy models as well. The ability to build walls allowed me to feel strategic and it felt great rerouting a huge line of enemies with them.

I love this type of games! It was fun to play with beautiful graphics, you choosed the assets very well, and you implemented the mechanics well. Great work!
I like the almost RTS element combined with tower defense. Interesting and even a bit ambitious to include in a limited time jam, plus these seemed to be working well, feel smooth, and fun to play - so I thought you did a really nice job on this game!
Bug fix:
1. text speed is doubled.
2. HQ does send now 2 collectors for free.
3. towers doesn't shoot anymore if you are in build mode.
The 2 collectors from the HQ works in the editor but not in the build. It seems to be related to the "Start" function in the collectors. In Start it was looking for the HQ itself and potential targets. As the HQ wasn't available yet (althrough the collectors were a child of the HQ), the route couldn't be determined. The "Start" function was executing earlier then needed. This has been fixed by starting a coroutine with a second delay ;-).

Super cool idea here with a lot of potential! There are a couple things I'd point out:
If you're going to auto-type out text, I recommend going 2-3x faster than the current speed, or at the very least, clicking should instantly type it out. I didn't want to skip the story but it was a little rough waiting for the text to type out.
I'm a little surprised no one else has pointed this out, but there's a massive abuse of mechanics you can do where if the blobs are next to your towers, you just start to place a wall or something and the enemies will freeze while the towers mow them down. The tower attack speed should be slowed down as much as the enemies are while placing buildings.
Would be nice if placing walls could be done more quickly, like dragging out stretches of wall or at least staying in "wall place mode" after placing one wall.
I also agree with the commenter below that HQ should start with a few collectors by default.
However, that aside, I love the structure and concept behind this game. Awesome job!!

Dammit, the bug returned :|. Fixed it on Saturday but apparently reappeared.

Is a bug, should start with 2 already. I made myself in a deadlock too many times because of this xD

Impressive effort! Love that the game slows down, but does not pause when placing buildings. Would like a pause button, died while my son was asking a question :P
Some constructive feedback - the initial story was a bit too long. You can try including some rules/story through the tutorial/first few waves as well. Overall nice game.

I enjoyed playing this - Nice one! I found the mechanics fine to me. I enjoyed the pathfinding. I found the music boring like elevator music . I wanted to speed up the text and the game at times.
Liked the concept here, Few points of potential improvement:
Overall I liked the idea of the game, but the pacing (Game and Text) was too slow, great work as mechanically it was solid <3
1. HQ should start with a collector (or a few!) <-- it should start with 2.... It seems they don't activate at the moment you start collecting.
2. Levels should start with a basic amount as I got stuck after the first mission and only had 23 money <-- that is the act of balancing the game (which needs time). If you start with a basic amount, you can retreat immediately and even gain money in not playing the game at all ;-). I'm not sure how to fix this, other then having a waiting period of 1 minute before the retreating button shows up
Hmm maybe a quota of sorts before you can retreat?
As said I very much like the concept of the game

Text was written too slow for me and I skipped it to play already and I was surprised that I cannot visit planet again (explained in story) :D
