Hah noted! I appreciate your arguments. I was thinking about testing a ritual room that applies to adjacent rooms so not per room but you can create clusters. I think overall research will stay at one room, but may have some form of room that can boost research speeds (with research getting more expensive and a little slower, as you can unlock a lot in a row and loose track). Rooms may be tested with excavations and a build menu to limit the amount of UI you are clicking on with machine upgrades being removed in favour of global machine tier upgrades. so its more about your factory layout and rooms rather than machine micro.
But just a few ideas I have swirling around my head

Well done on creating this. there are a few issues like hit boxes and speed, you essentially have to juggle the enemies, Money creation is hard at the beginning so I needed to abuse these (arrow, sword from wizard) but even then the game was quite difficult. I had hoped that I could have multiple creatures but alas not currently, Keep it up, what I played was fun!
Fun game, Think I hit and ECS crash placing venerable roots into a system, couldn't get the log as the page locked up.
Like the connections aspect, art was nice, liked the cartoon Booms on enemies being destroyed. Rotate would have been nice. One issue I did note was that you can place through the UI as it doesnt catch the clicks.

Beat the Lich - really fun, could see how this would expand with more characters etc. Linked the linking mechanic - right click to remove would have been nice.
Also the shop choice could have done with me being able to see my inventory map so I know what I needed instead of remembering. Some times it was a roll of the dice as I didn't know what was in the game.
Maybe instead of a shop choice you get a choice of an item from that shop so like a random spell, helmet, enchant etc? as sometimes I would choose a shop and then not get anything as nothing I wanted or got a bad roll.

So I was curious why the potato man has so many cacti, but then I realised he has bigger problems with void cats and inter dimensional paths. I did not like the movement controls as they felt quite unresponsive. But I loved the cat and its cute little monkey sounds. I would like to play as this cat more!
I liked how forgiving it was to my chubby cute void kitty. as some of those gaps were a little sketchy
