Amazing for 48 hours! Everything is kept simple and easy to understand, but the last puzzle is fittingly challenging without being frustrating. All around great work, you should be proud!
Thanks! :)
Great use of the theme the art style is simple but useful - I hit a bug on level three where I could not move the crate even though I had all 4 pickups - restarted a few times, then "it just worked".
Level design is good and felt like the game was just getting going when it ended.
Good job and nice entry!
Yeah, another comment also pointed out that bug. I'm going to look into it after the jam. Thanks for the feedback!
Good stuff man! The levels were very well curated in difficulty scaling, and mechanics were simple yet well used. The movement felt crisp and the levels were delightfully designed - not overly complicated, not overly simplistic.
If I were to nit-pick, I would only wish there was an extra tiny mechanic to complement the existing ones. It feels like just the tiniest extra mechanic could exponentially grow the game in complexity and variety, as you'd have to think about another variable during each level. However, I can see you did this in 48 hours (!!!), which means adding the smallest mechanic would entail dramatically increasing the design and programming time, so think of my comment as a "random internet guy's" ideas to a well-established foundation.
I'm glad I found this in the "Random" sorting!
I might expand this game at some point and then I'll add some more mechanics. Thank you! :)
I love the game's level design and mechanics! It's easy to learn, and the levels are neither too challenging nor too easy!
Thanks! :)
Great style, the jumping feels great, wish that there are more challenging levels!
Thank you! I might add some more challenging levels in the future. :)
Very well made! The mushroom is so cute and the puzzles were really fun to figure out!
Thanks!
Extremely polished game, loved the puzzles, well executed.
Thanks! :)
This is very well made, and the levels are thoughtful. Awesome job with this!
Thank you!
I think the idea of scaling power alongside size is a cool idea for a bigger project, good stuff!
Thanks!
There are quite a few platformer games that involve changing charcter sizes! This one was definitely one of the more enjoyable ones I’ve played.
Thank you! :)
While the take on the theme is not surprising, you combine the simple mechanics into several engaging puzzles with a lovely atmosphere and aesthetic. A larger size game likely would need more mechanics, but the potential is there. Very fun entry!
Thanks! :)
i was surprised, i liked it a lot
Thank you! :)
The puzzles were very well designed
Thanks!
Nice! The puzzles are quite good.
Thanks!
Nice and simple concept. great experience:)
Thanks! :)
Very clever use of a simple concept. The game is sleek, fun to play, and well polished. Great experience!
Thank you!
Nice chill puzzle platformer. I especially liked level 6, I thought the second box was an obstacle but it was actually something I had to utilize, and that's a cool little trick
Thanks!
Fantastic little puzzle platformer!
Felt great to play & the game's feel an aesthetic were both super chill, loved it!
Great bite-sized length to explore the idea while still be accessible for a quick playthrough as a gamejam game.
I did find a bug where (I think) if you hit 2 shrinking items too quickly you wouldn't get as small as you were supposed to.
I also appreciate the celebration level at the end, because I did spend most of the game wanting to see what happened if you just hit a bunch of them. (Although I was mostly curious to see how tiny we could become. Maybe in the sequel lol)
Oh, I'll have to look into that bug after the jam ends. Thanks! :)
fun game and requires a lot of thought. Great job!
Thank you!
Using the size-changes as keys was a brilliant move to make a lot of interesting puzzles out of few mechanics.
Thanks! :)
