Nice submission! It has all the core things a good game should have (decent music, SFX, nice models etc). I particularly liked the shield bash attack. As others have suggested, it'd be great to keep working on it. Good job
Thank you for a positive feedback :D
Cool game! I really like the idea and the music fit the story and setting well. Good job! :D
Thanks!
I think you did a good job on it, the enemies that come in can be defeated and the atmosphere works well for your story, great work on the submission!
Thanks!
I think this is a good start and I would keep working on it as well. Keep working on this one for sure!
Thanks for playing! We will definitely work on it!
This is a solid start, I could see this being a really fun game with some more time and work. As is it is really funny to watch the enemies sideways slide at me and then just disappear when I poke them with my spear lol
Thanks for playing! Hopefully, someday we release a much better version!
the game could be fun if you have more time to work on it , the idea is really cool
We spent a lot of time on some fixes and hacks. Hopefully we roll out a better version in the future XD
I like the music and the medieval theme.
Thanks!
The models are a great choice. Liked the sound of the weapons and princess.
The enemy animation are off. Also the font/menu is cheap / fast build. The visuals ingame looks nice (as mentioned before) but the game isn't appealing for playing.
As you most likely used navmesh for path finding, please use a wider entrance. Having a small entrance will result is weird behaviour ingame. Especially as the player can block the enemies (at some degree it seems).
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah it was a fast build with us trying out new stuff, we will keep in mind about the small details you mentioned (like fonts and wider entrance) in future projects.
Point noted. This was the first time we used navmesh so we were just experimenting most of the time. The UI was compromised as a result. Thanks for the feedback, we will work on it!
Great start for a game for sure! I applaud anyone though using the unreal engine as I heard that one and seen from youtube that that's def more advance! Great job there.
Thank you for a positive feedback! It's actually built in Unity with some high quality free assets making it seem like unreal engine build :D
Oh wow! I had thought it said unreal but that's very impressive then. I knew unity could do some good things though, but this really some nice work then! Sorry about messing that up, I do these right after abs from memory and so many engines start with u and such lol 🤣
I just played your game. The game theme is beautiful, the models used are good.
There are just some points to improve:
- adding animations for the enemies
- adding mouse sensitivity settings
- adding visual effects when hitting an enemy
Good job!
thanks
