This is a neat shooter game! I like how movement feels, and having to stop to shoot arrows adds a nice bit of tension when you're trying to kite the enemies. I had some difficulty with the shooting controls, but I see from the other comments that you already intend to address that. I also ran into a minor audio bug where if you press space quickly, the shooting sound plays multiple times even though you only shoot one arrow.

I had a blast playing your game! You included some very nice pieces of polish to help me understand the game and what I was supposed to do easily. For example, I like the green bar for my sprint meter. I've played many games where there is no visual indication of the sprint meter running out it just kind of does and that is nice to be able to plan around it with the visual cue. I really liked the music! Perfect for a last stand. This game really tests my kiting abilities it was great!

wow, I loved everything about this! the art is amazing and so mechanics, the gameplay is really fun, music and SFX fit perfectly. I agree with others about being able to launch the arrow with the mouse. Also in my opinion, the arrow being blocked by the skulls of freshly dead enemies makes the game a little too difficult in certain situations. But other than that I loved it, well done!
The game is fun in itself and looks great! The game would benefit from being able to aim and shoot with a mouse. Other than that this is a solid entry, keep up the good work :)
I just played your game and it was fun and has unique mechanics, I like it!
There is a bug though when I went through trees and killed an enemy there, the enemies stopped spawning, I don't know what might cause this.
Overall, it is a great game!
The art is execellent and the pause after firing to load the arrow gives it a unique flavour. I agree with some of the other commetns below that being able to aim and fire with the mouse would improve the gameplay a bit, but overall a great entry.

I plan to revisit this project after the voting period is over to update some things and number 1 on the list is getting the controls switched over to using the mouse for aiming/shooting. I like the smooth feel of the mechanic and the fluid look of the animations when the enemies die, I think you did a really nice job on this game!
I do like the combat and the aesthetics are great. I do wish the fire button and dash buttons where tied to a different button that would use the right hand. You could use the mouse buttons or perhaps the enter button.(not changing the aiming mechanic , just button placement) but Overall very nice!.
Thanks for playing and providing feedback! The controls were definitely my biggest misstep with it. Out of curiosity, did you try using the arrow keys to cover movement with the right hand? It's a little closer to what you're describing but still not the best. I do like your idea of using the mouse or even the Enter button! Great asset choice, the music made me feel like I'm about to discover something as it was very motivating. Love the death animation for enemies. Good job!
Liked the assets. The sound of the bow was great. Also liked the level design, seemed like a cozy town to live in. The death animation blocking my movement was annoying though. Most of the times I died it was because of that.

I really like the art. Enemies behave great. SFX is great, the music dont match the ambience (in my opinion)
The shooting mechanic is painful at first, but when you got it its easy.

Super cute! Shooting enemies with arrows is so satisfying! Not sure if it's just a skill issue on my part, but I kept getting killed because it took me too long to shoot the arrow lol.
