We have all of the GameDevTv coding and art courses we want, so i went for one i thought could be interesting Ricks indie game success roadmap course.

Hopefully the irl stuff goes well, thanks for the windows download :)

Wow nice and fast update, i will be playing this in my downtime.

Nice job everyone, i played some very cool games this year. Hopefully next year is just as good!!

Thanks for playing, we have many plans for the games future.

Nice art, good gameplay the camera controls were fluid. The last stand feature was a good one, would be nice to see more types of towers if you continue making it good job.

Nice relaxing game for the start, then sheer panic as the giant red orbs try to kill you nice work.

Really glad you liked it :)

Really fun game, nice artwork very random but works well nice job.

I really enjoyed that one, I made a collection of ones I liked the most from the jam, the ratings are higher than the above ones but they were ones I want to go back to play later.

Glad you enjimmed it, we will be fixing the sound and adding more content after the jam. There is another surprise at 500 kills :)

I've rated 59 so far, if we are going by lower rating here's three i would recommend.
https://itch.io/jam/gamedevtv-jam-2024/rate/2740039 very relaxing fun game.
https://itch.io/jam/gamedevtv-jam-2024/rate/2734384 funny game, relaxed.
https://itch.io/jam/gamedevtv-jam-2024/rate/2747755 surprisingly level of strategy needed.

I farmed 28 humans organically and in a cruelty free manner, really funny idea for the theme and the cow noise is brilliant, nice job.

Nice art, easy to play and smooth gameplay. I would have liked some tower upgrades as none of the towers had a very strong feel to them. overall though it was very nice great work!.

Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed it. Attack feedback and balancing are definitely in the top things we will be dealing with once the jam is over.

Thanks for playing we are glad you liked it, yeah the sound was a major git issue for us.
We added multiple controls to offer some support for left or right handed users to be able to play easier, but I'm glad that helped for your keyboard layout as well though. I will look into mappings for other styles of keyboards as well, we use a qwerty style one but i will see what we can do. Hopefully your rsi get's better soon :)

Really happy it made you laugh, we wanted to set the scene properly and nothing sets the scene like Jimspeak xD. We will definitely be looking into some toggleable sound feedback options for people after the jam. Thanks that minimap took me a good bit to figure out, glad trying something new worked out :p thanks for playing.

Pretty solid shooter, nice style easy to jump into. I was like oh look there's llama enemies and the then spiders came, I'm not usually bothered by them but those were very intimidating for some reason :p nice work!

Really fun game, glad i didn't discover it earlier in the jam as i wouldn't have submitted anything xD nice job.

Thanks we are happy you enjimmed it, there will be plenty more when we update it.

Glad you enjoyed it, yeah we had issues with git that messed with things a good bit. We didn't realize changes hadn't updated until it was uploaded unfortunately.

Glad you had fun,  we will be adding a tutorial after the gamejam and definitely fixing the music issue. We will be adding some feedback for shooting and zombie noises after the jam thanks for the feedback.

This was really funny, i played it a few times and figured out the trick is to windmill my shootin hand till the local ladies come runnin! Well done!!

Thanks we are really happy you enjimmed it! Likewise i will be playing your game a good bit between downtime after the jam.

Thanks really glad you enjoyed it, we will be updating it with plenty of content after this GameJam is over :)

Here's our game, we tell the tale of Jim and his role in the apocalypse!

No problem, i figured it out when i tried to play someone's game yesterday and felt bad i couldn't review it, but i was determined to. I thought it was just me.

Really enjoyed this as i'm a fan of tactical rpgs, cool art style and great to see a fellow Godot user. Nice work, I will keep an eye out for future updates.

I really like the look of the game, i found it a bit confusing at first but once i figured out what was going on it was pretty good fun. Nice work!

I like the art, the gameplay was good but i had the same issue as someone below with the random upgrade clicking. It would have been nice if the flamethrower recharged a little faster because i was spending a good bit trying to run away while it recharged. Overall though i enjoyed it well done!

I had noticed that as well it's nice to see, we used Godot 4.2 for ours.

I have gotten the same error when using the view random submission button to play games, i would have to find the game again and open it in another tab to make it work.

Very well made nice art, good gameplay and message. I managed to complete the dam even though i kept hitting rubbish with my tail lol good job well done.

This game has the most hilarious death animation I've seen so far in the jam. Some sort of line to show where you are aiming would be excellent but overall it was fun nice job.

Here's our entry, enjim!

Nice game, i liked the style and the controls were good i could see myself playing this a good bit. It would have been nice to be able to place barricades through friendly units as the archer just would not move nice job.

Here's our game, hope you like it.

I was a bit put off by not having to use the mouse to attack at the start, but having diagonal arrow attacks made it actually control nicely. Nice minimal art style and the gameplay was very good well done.

I liked the game, especially the cow design. It would have been nice to have an end goal, (i expected to have to herd them into the pen area). Having multiple choices for controls was very helpful as well.
