Really fun gameplay loop, very smooth to play and easy to pick up... Ideas for future if you chose to develop it further would be to add levels after defeating a certain amount of enemies and levelling up would grant you the ability to buff stats like movement speed or attack speed or like adding a shield so you can take a hit before you die, that would be super cool! Also adding more incentives to destroying the lil caves and graves. Other than that, really fun and found myself playing for a while and wanting to beat my score... good job!

I like your suggestions and I think if i was to make a similar project in the future, I would add those kinds of feature. I really like the shield idea, its not something I had considered.. I think I was initially hoping to add some kind of speed buff as a stretch goal but I never got around to it..
I have a few ideas for how I'd make killing the spawners more worthwhile to kill so i'll try to implement those in my next project. Thanks for the constructive criticism and I hope you enjoyed playing! :)
I think you did a great job, the assets look great and the gameplay feels clean and engaging, nice work on the game!
As you said it's quite difficult - especially with a keyboard - but you warned us about that. It does play and look nice though.
As someone who always plays with Mouse + Keyboard I would have appreciated being able to attack and aim with the mouse but I can understand that that wasn't a priority.
Ye that would definately have been more ideal. I kinda didn't get around to testing keyboard controls until the very end and by then I was already burnt out and over the project xd.
I think that would probably be one of the higher priorities if I was to keep working on this.. Thanks for the feedback! :)
Surprisingly good fun, trying to keep the combos up. Couple of issues with UI floating off the screen and my character walking off the map (more or less standard Jam problems :D), but really liked the pixel art including the death animations. Is 770 a decent score :O
Oh ye, I couldn't be bothered to add actual arena bounds so I kinda just let the player get the picture by having the UI and player character leave off screen if they go too far ๐ฌ๐

Thanks for the feedback. 770 is pretty good tbh it can be really tricky to get combo going. I think my highest scores are in the gifs on the page ๐
I had to try 3 to 4 times before i got the mechanics right. Nice Difficulty level. Keep up the good work :)
Already tried it before the end of the game jam. Nice but a little bit too hard for me! Nice game, anyway!
