This was a very well-put-together game! Like other comments have brought up, it was pretty difficult though.
I really liked the audio and aesthetic!
Very nice work!
Hi!
The game looks great an the music is pretty cool! But it was a bit too difficult to play. The controls feel great, but the platforms are difficult. I could not get too far, unfortunately.
Congrats on the game!
Very fun, I liked it! With a little more space between jumps it would be perfect
I really liked the game! It reminded me of Celeste in some ways!
The controls are tight and well implemented, it feels incredibly well to play, and it's actually satisfying to perform the difficult jumps that you face! 😁
I agree with other responses: the game's difficult (and that's good!). I feel challenged by the game to keep trying and trying, because most of the time when I die, it was a mistake I made.
I only have two problems with the game, and they both have to do with the stick to the wall mechanic; I found myself not releasing the Z key all the time I played, this makes the game feel easier, I would add some kind of mechanic to prevent players from keeping the Z key pressed all the time. Also, I feel like you fall too fast when sticking to a wall, I died multiple times thinking that I would be safe sticking to a wall, just to drop too much and touch some spikes.
Other than that, very good entry! 👍
Fun, but a little hard for me, dash in sky is a nice idea
I loved the graphics & audio, but gameplay was a bit difficult for me - I couldn't get past the second/third (?) level, where player is required to walljump between tight walls and thorns.
nice game, but I have to agree with the other posters. walljumping is kind of hard. maybe it would be easier if it were the same button as jump?
overall solid game, but the wall jump is really .... bad
and it is too difficult.
smooth the learning curve a bit plz
The use of background asset and sprites aren't very good. The wall in the foreground is as dark as the tree silhouette in the background and sometimes I mistaken the actual floor and the floor in the background making me fall to death many times.
The movement isn't too good. It makes the chance of avoiding spikes very low. It also makes the feeling of the player is being near danger all the time.
The assisting and feedback aren't enough. In continuous event there is no pausing and there is very little informing.
I can't tell if the difficulty curve here is appropriate. But the game is hard.
Anyway, good job. Those mechanics seems hard to get it right.
It's a tough game and I like it.
damn the gamePlay is on fleek, kinda hard to keep track of all of the different keys and what they do but well, great work
I admit, the controls at the beginning were difficult to grasp. But after a lot of stumbling, I got the hang of it! Perhaps it would have helped to introduce the different controls more gradually? Like don't introduce dash or climb for a while until people are used to the basic movement, then after a while add climb, and then after a while add dash? Aside from that, I really enjoyed the ambiance of the game. It's very pretty and the music kept me cooler under pressure!
Fellow tricky platformers unite!
I agree with you about recommending running fast or climbing for a while until people get used to the basic movement. I see you are doing very well at your game.
welp, I couldn't get past the first obstacle. I never mastered Celeste or any games of that ilk. Sorry. It seems like it would be a fantastic game. I love the smoothness of everything, the nice audio, animation and great parallax backgrounds. Very high quality professional feel.
Agree with others about the key bindings - it was difficult for me learn them and I always pressed the wrong one. I am not sure why, maybe because all of the buttons are in the same line close to each other? The gamepad support would've been perfect for that. The overall vibe reminds me of Celeste a a bit. Good job!
The physics in this game feels great! (I wish I could have gotten my game to feel as reactive as this) The buttons were very hard to get used to for me at least. I do like the art a lot though, did you make it?
Thanks! For art we use free assets available.
excellent game!! I can't wait to play more in the future.
Divine game !!! I hope it will be much more developed in near future
I love this game so much! I wish that there were a different climb button than Z though.
Glad you like it! We will update Key Rebinding in future versions.
Fun, challenging, and funny dialogue :)
Thanks!
