I really appreciate the honest analysis and feedback! I really agree with everything you said. We we're actually planning to do an upgrade system like you said at first, but because of the time constraints we we're forced to just give everyone all the abilities at once.

I think that sacrificing the player experience for more content/graphics might've been an issue though, because of the reasons you stated. No matter how good our balance or mechanics or graphics are, if the game is difficult to play or get into then the players will be frustrated and less likely to have fun.

(Nobody has beaten wave 10 yet, but so far you're the first to make it to have 9 and see the OP LASER BEAM SLIMES (did you try the cool hint owo?))

Thank you for the critique soup man.

Yeah, the Buff Guy was definitely the weakest of the bunch. He's actually most useful in the later waves, when stuff really starts getting crazy.

That platformer was really quite intense.

And thank you! I agree, there's so many directions we can take this game (but they would require an utter overhaul of our spaghetti coded system haha). That square idea is actually quite interesting. If we did that, we could even make the camera rotate around the square, and really show off the 2.5D aspect.

I appreciate the supportive comments! (I say comments because there's two of them lol)

I was hoping to make a strategy-type game that was easy to get into and play, so I'm really happy to have turned the tables a bit for you!

Thank you kind and memey sir! Sorry to have stolen your time with this game (I'm actually not sorry that's a lie I'm actually quite happy you spent so much time in it)

The two side idea was truly a very good idea (it was the other dev's idea not mine). We were truly hoping to make a game that someone can spend a long time optimizing and strategizing in, so I'm really glad you experienced that!

I wrote all the character myself, thanks. And we did spend a lot of time working on making sure the characters were balanced, thank you!

Before making video games, the other developer and I used to make D&D homebrew classes and sub classes! So we're quite experienced in balancing things, I'd say.

Yeah I do agree that the current UI is not the most interactive out there. That's one of the things that, if only we had like 2 more days, we definitely would have fixed!

And I absolutely love the artist for what he's done with the style! He crunched it all in like the last week ha (slightly stressful for me)

thanks sooo much! I'm thinking that to change the game to make it less repetitive, we'd introduce upgrades to player abilities.

Thanks for the feedback and criticism!

The graphics blew me away, and the boss battle was really fun. The story had such huge twists as to give me whiplash.
I wish the sword was used more, and I really wish there was more *content*. Overall, it is good for what it is.

I love strategy games like this (I made a strategy game of sorts myself hehe). It was difficult to position my armies around, because I kept clicking on the farm buildings and such, but overall it was a fun experience. I love the feeling of growing my little kingdom and dominating the board.

Oh I love the graphics and overall style of this game. I myself am partial to RPGs and medieval themed things, ha.

It is unfortunate that I didn't have anyone to play this with, because I'm assuming this is a multiplayer game. I bet it would've been a blast. Jumping around the map and enjoying everything the artist created with a nice experience in of itself though.

A very neko game. I loved how the menu design was also a cat paw too. I agree that the diagonal controls did make the game more challenging, but overall I had a simple but neat experience.

Oh my goodness such a *CRUNCHY* game. Felt very interactive. I really enjoy how each new ability makes the game even *crunchier* too, while also making you feel really powerful. Very nice I love destroying spacecraft.

A simple and fun game that made me smile multiple times throughout. I especially loved the pictures on the cards! Especially Mind over Matter lol.
Surprisingly challenging too.

Oh that was a really fun experience. It felt very well polished through and through. I loved the retro style to all the art and cutscenes, and the audio really pulled it together too. The simple story was really fun as well. Truly a super monkey paw experience.

Oh no it wasn't made by just me at all!
I tried adding the other people as owners on the page but I suppose it didn't show up lol. I updated the page to include the other developer and the artist for the game.

Unfortunately, yea this game does require some commitment to play it, but I'm really glad you did end up playing it! thanks much.

Oh I'm sorry to hear that! There was a lot of bugs like that that we fixed last minute, but it seems like a couple still slipped through. ;_;

A really fun and challenging game! The gameplay loop is really neat; you can really see the progress you make each time you play the game. You get *that* much closer to playing off your loan each time.

It's nice and relaxing, just watching the customers come in as well.

overall, neat concept with a very good execution.

Another thing I realized is that the game reminded me a lot of One Shot, with the cat-like protagonist and the big open world.

A really neat top-down shooter style game with a really cool cutscene at the beginning. I really felt the story there.

Press F to play respects

I really like the models the characters, and the funny lines the enemies have when projecting their moves. This is like an xcom-style puzzle game and I love it.

Begin playing: Ah I like walking around this store it's like Jojamart

Middle of playing: OH GOD WHY ARE THE SECONDS SHORTER

End of playing: I am a timelord

Overall, I love the graphics of this game! It's concept of running around picking up stuff is really neat, and I like the ability to upgrade yourself with coffee or soda to race against the clock. It reminds me of working at Costco lol. This game really is an experience in and of itself.

Oh my goodness this project seemed so crazy ambitious. There's servers and everything!

I think that if there were more people on the servers (I'm assuming that's why the oceans are so empty right now) then this game would be an absolute blast! I love games like this, it feel reminiscent of Horizon's Gate and I.O. browser games.

Very very cool game. One thing is I wish the game was a little easier to learn. Maybe a tutorial level of some sort?

I love the design of the main character and all the entities in the world. Even the little enemies managed to look cute! The game did feel empty at times, but I did enjoy running around and exploring the world.

Additionally, I really feel the name ;-;

Quite a neat game. The graphics and sounds quality was really quite good.

I struggled with the controls for a bit, but when I got used to them the game was quite intense!

Ha, it is true! We wanted one person from each time period in order to maximize personality and possible cliches from different media

This game's theme is extremely solid. I love the concept of playing your cards against a lover you're breaking up with. Unfortunately, the game crashed alot for me, so I couldn't play too far into it.

I enjoy the surprisingly fast-paced gameplay. I really feel like a man struggling to keep up with all of my debt. The art style fits the theme quite nicely too.

A very well made game overall. Many different levels to sate anyone's puzzle needs. The ability to pull the bullet back is very interesting and adds to the strategy of the game as well.

very fun game with interesting strategy elements. I would just have loved to have more rounds!

Actually my favorite game so far. I love how it fits the theme so very perfectly. I love how the game just destroys itself when your memes get too good too. Overall, very very good game 5/5.

A very neat Retro-Style game. I like how things escalate very quickly.

Very fun game that's simple but entertaining. Chill.

I love the dwarf vs elf cliche going on here. I'm grindin my axe. Additionally I like the bullet hell aspect of this game, combined with the action of attacking the enemies and not spamming too much (because spamming would make your range too short). Overall very nice.

I love this game so much! I wish that there were a different climb button than Z though.
