It's an interesting puzzle, the mechanics of moving in one direction are a bit confusing at first, but then you get used to it.

Also, I would rather leave the jump on the space bar, because not all players can simultaneously hold two buttons with one hand and control them.

Besides, why add crossed-out arrows, just expand the character) this way it will be visually clear where he can move.

Really liked the idea! The cloud levels feel a bit buggy to me, but overall it is a pretty cool concept!

Really enjoyed the idea! Definitely has strong potential

The levels are well-crafted, and I respect the coins being implemented for a more challenging experience for those interested. I'd like an indication for where the player is facing up/down in the cloud levels, similar to how they face different directions left/right. Maybe it was there in another form, but it was too subtle for me to notice. Nice work regardless.

The first couple levels felt really mindless and I wasn't sure the mechanic even made sense but I quickly realized I had to think a little more in the later levels. Really interesting take. Definitely nailed the theme.

unique idea to create a puzzle with the concept that you have to move forward!

Yeah lol - When i first came up with the idea I was in science 5th period and I got REALLLY BORED so I decided to sneak my phone out and check the theme - and then I drew out some prototyping. Thank god for my teacher being very very lazy and just having the period be study hall.

Hello!

Congrats on this work! I find the core gameplay really clever, and I love how you gradually made the mechanics more complex.

I also want to highlight the UX—it’s really well done! The way the text is integrated into the levels and the reminder to press "R" when stuck at the end are great touches. These small details really help make the experience more cool!

As a suggestion for improvement, for better comfort, I might have mapped the jump to the "jump" key to make it feel more intuitive.

Thank you! There's so many ways to get stuck I just gave up and added the R reminder. For some reason the jump animation just wouldn't play when you pressed jump,  so I just ended up not worrying about that too much and mapping it to when you're not on the ground. Thanks for playing my game and glad you enjoyed it!

Really cool puzzle game, I did get stuck a few times in the clouds levels and had to return to the main menu and reload the level, but that just meant I had to really think about if I should make that next move or not!

Overall, nice job!

Developer

Yeah - In the cloud levels you can reset with R, but I should've made that more clear lol

This one is actually something unique i have played so far ! well made and perfectly playable :3

Thanks, glad you liked it! I originally thought my mechanic was gonna be one of the most common, but hey, wouldya look at that.

Really liked the concept! My favourite levels were the cloud ones :). Did run into a few bugs, not sure if it was to do with the resolution of my browser, but the UI is a bit oversized? The jump sound also plays on input press rather than when the character jumps. The soundtrack and graphics fit the vibe well. Overall, good job :)

one mistake i have made during this game. not scaling the ui to screen. and then after i realized it was too late.

Just wow, this one is is such a brain teaser! Love it.  Once we got to the cloud I was like brotha, brain power required for sure! Amazing job!

Developer

Glad you liked (actually loved) it! When I started dev for the platformer levels I thought it was waaaaaaaay too simple, so I decided to add the cloud parts. Thank god I added the cloud parts because like 2/3 of the levels are clouds.
