How does the game fit into the theme?
You are constantly being chased by an enemy fish that is trying to hurt you. You have no choice but to keep moving.
What premade assets did you use if any?
I used 2 open-source shaders from godotshaders.com: 1 for the godrays and 2 for the wind shader. I grabbed some free fonts from fontesk. A COG icon from feather icons to open up the settings menu. Other than that everything else was made by me or my wife.

Cool graphics
Very cool hand-drawn art. It's fun to dodge the enemy fish and pull ahead of it to collect starfish without getting poked. The theme interpretation is very strong since you really do have to keep moving forward in order to avoid dying
Very polish visual and music, nice controls of the fish!
I was a little confused that I would sometime slow down for no apparent reasons, but except for that, very nice little game.
Good job!
Really cool art! Nice entry :)
Really cool game! The art is super cute!!!
Art is amazing! Was it all drawn during the jam? :o
Dash feels great too
Yep, everything was made during the jam window! Thanks for playing and for the kind feedback :)
Cool game! reminds me of those old fish simulator games.
Art is very nice, they look like crayon drawings and the music is nice and calm.
Gameplay wise, the pointy fish moved a bit faster than the player so once you encounter that you just straight up lose the game (or maybe that's just a skill issue on my part)
Good job!
It was actually all drawn by hand with colored pencils! But there is a dash button (the space bar). I didn't have time to put instructions in the game unfortunately...
Thanks for the feedback, I definitely appreciate it! :)
The art is incredible! Love the idea for the game, and well executed! Its very peaceful
The handdrawn art is fantastic, looks straight out of a professional children's book! If she isn't already, your wife would do really well as a book illustrator.
Daanng what a compliment! I will make sure to let her know you said that :]
I liked the game. It's very beautiful.
I just want to share a little bug: One of the star was created out of bounds once during the gameplay.
Oh that is my bad... Originally I had the level really open and so I just spawned the stars within some xy coordinates, but I tried to do the level design with an hour left in the jam and I didn't think about the unreachable stars... :D
Thank you for the bug report and for playing :]
Beautiful game! I really like the art style! The music is also well chosen, and overall, the game feels very polished and well-rounded. Unfortunately, I find the theme interpretation a bit weak. Of course, interpretation is always subjective. I understand the core idea that the fish must keep moving to avoid being attacked by the other fish—or at least, I assume that was the intention behind it. I just wish there was a bit more to it. Other than that, the game is a visual delight! Well done!

Hello!
Congrats on this work! I really appreciated the immersion I felt while playing. It was super relaxing, and the music played a big role in that, it really made me feel like I was deep in the ocean. The graphics are also really cool!
At first, I thought it would be a game like Angry Shark, but it turned out to be something completely different! The gameplay is easy to pick up and very intuitive.
As for an improvement, maybe adding a fullscreen option could be nice (unless I missed the key for it or you simply didn’t have time to include it). Also, it fit the jam theme for me !
Very unique art style!
Simple but really cute, perfect for a game jam
Thank you for playing! :)
This is such a chill game. I spent the first couple runs zooming in and eventually dying, just to see all the hand drawn art! Really nice style, music , gameplay, everything fits together nicely!
Thank you for giving it a try. I appreciate the kind words! :]
I liked the art and the music. The gameplay is fun, but I think the camera doesn't help the player much because it's so close or moving so slowly. It's hard to see what's ahead so you don't collide with an enemy.
Still, it's a great job! :D
Ohhh thanks for playing. You just reminded me to let people know that they can use the scroll wheel to zoom in/out... Just added it to the "How to play section" of the description.
We wanted to include instructions in game but time is a jerk haha
I noticed two litte thing:
Ah yeah, there is a little cool down but it seems to be pretty buggy. I will look into fixing that. Thanks for the feedback :]
Stay aliveeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Very nice!
Thanks for trying it :]
