This is a pretty cool survivor game! A simple hack and slash can be entertaining enough. After a certain time, however, it got a bit old fighting the same enemies with the same weapons. I feel that it would help if you added a bit more variety.
Noted, I should definitely consider more variety when making these type of games in the future.
Thank you for playing!
Looks really nice, and the animations are great. Would have liked it if the arrows would be shot in the direction the character was facing and if the size of the orcs affected how many hits they could take. But the gameplay is well put together, and I like the size of the area you can explore. :)
Nice ideas, variety would've definitely improved the game a lot.
Thank you for playing!
It looks beautiful and intriguing.
Thank you for playing!
The bow mechanic was pretty op, but very good game!
Good point but having 5 piercing arrow feels so cool, originally I had it that the arrow would pierce through everything without stopping that was way to op.
Thank you for playing!
gameplay and art is SUPER smooth! love it!

I went into battle without reading the game description, and I actually liked it even more that way. I wandered around the map and noticed a group of orcs heading somewhere, so I decided to check it out. I followed them closely, occasionally fighting back when they noticed me. Eventually, I managed to catch a glimpse of the gates. I tried to enter them, but quickly realized I wasn’t welcome there—hordes of orcs mercilessly attacked me. I fought back as best as I could, but in the end, I fell a heroic death. It was such a fun adventure!
Really glad you enjoyed it! I was definitely leaning more into story of the game and heroically dying in a last stand hence why the gameplay is kinda simple. Really appreciate you playing the game in a more narrative perspective.
Thank you for playing!
I liked the animation, and gameplay was really smooth.
Thank you for playing!
I liked the game and the way this game is represented. I'd love to see the melee attacks executing faster but the arrow hits are so satisfying.
Glad you enjoyed the arrows.
Thank you for playing!
Fun game! cool slashing animation also. Only problem i had was that the running animation was kind off hazy. But other than that: Good job!
I guess it does kinda feel slow when compared to the speed you're actually going.
Thank you for playing!
It was fun but the combat needs to be improved a bit, its slow and also it gets repetitive. The graphics and movement are great though so good job!
I agree, making everything quicker and have more variety would've been better.
Thank you for playing!
I like the art and the map, but the combat becomes quickly repetitive. Have some knock back on enemies and the player and giving more health to the enemies could help a little with that, making it so it's more of a crowd control type of game. Also, multiple time I had an enemy hit me while they were in their death animation, not sure what that was about.
Except for that, nice little game! Good job!
Interesting spin on the gameplay.
Thank you for playing!
I think it was fun, although the combat mechanics needed some polishing to make them a little more agile, in my opinion. Sometimes the enemy hitboxes felt a bit unfair, too. But still, it's a good work. The art is great, and so is the sound.
Well done! :D
Nice game.
I second your opinion on the combat mechanics, because it was a little bit clumsy to click the mouse and keyboard together on my laptop.
When I played the game the second time, the hero died when he still has 67%.health.
Good points on accessibility, I'm so used to playing with mouse and keyboard I didn't really think of it.
About the health points, the game has 2 health bars, the player health (the red one below the player) and the gate health (the blue one with the percentage), so if either one hits 0 the game ends. So that might address the confusion with the hero dying at 67%.
Thank you for playing!
Valid points about the combat and movement being a bit slow, getting stun locked just because you messed up a bit is a bit unfair.
Thank you for playing!
Nice work! Its really nicely laid out and everything.
I wish the player attacks were a little faster though.
Thank you for the feedback!
Thanks for playing!
Nice game ! I noticed that the ennemy can hit the player during their death’s animation
Yeah one of those bugs where I didn't have time to fix.
Thank you for playing!
This is good. I played for 7 minutes then i started wondering about coins and upgrades and different enemies.
Yeah same here! Definitely thought of something like a roguelike at first with all the different upgrades and enemy variations, sadly I didn't have enough time to add stuff.
Thanks for playing!
It's fun to play! Good job :3
