- Pretty simple concept. The gameplay is a bit repetitive and not all that engaging. However the art style and atmosphere are really great.
- So.. Howl's Moving Castle and YOU are Calcifer, huh?! =) I don't mind more idle games like this, though I wish there was more to do and manage while experiencing it! Dialogue seems to be an emphasis but felt like it took a while to transition beyond generic instructions/tutorial-like dialogue/introductions. There is potential to build this idea, though!
- I wish there was more stuff to do as the mechanic instead of just spinning to win!! Otherwise, the story and art were very engaging and I love that it reminds of Howl's Moving Castle.
How does the game fit into the theme?
The main characters flee from a settlement engulfed by the plague to save themselves. They have created a walking house to find a permanent refuge. To keep the house moving, they need to maintain energy in an energy bag; if they stop, they will perish.

Hi, I'm hedge one of your judges! Played at https://twitch.tv/hedge_in at 4:28:00 <3 (Part 2)
It's a very interesting and original concept and gameplay. The music and art are excellent.
But maybe if the journey is always the same, there could be some checkpoints so you don't have to start all over again.
Still, it's a very complete game. Well done! :D
Such a cool game! The apocalyptic vibe is really cool and the lore keeps you entertained even with a simple mechanic. The art and music made a really fitting atmosphere for the game.
It was quite hard for me though, I couldn't get past the marauder part, the energy runs out so fast.
I wish there were a checkpoints so it wouldn't take too long to get to the part where you died (to die again...)
Well done!
The story is just enough to keep the player engaged while turning the wheel. I think this is the start of something really good!
This is a beautiful game. I love the art style, and the sound makes this a really immersive experience. The dialogue to set the scene and tell the story is clever. I would love to play an expanded version of this with more mechanics. :)
I agree! More mechanics would make it even better, and following along with the story while driving that colossus is very entertaining!
I like the art, the gameplay itself is simple but i can see the potential of it being addictive with 1 or 2 more added mechanics. Also a voice acting for the dialogues would be soo good! i hope you'll add more stuff after the jam :)
The art was cool and I felt myself getting really invested! I could see the game as a thriller of sorts.
Really nice artwork!
Round and round and round it goes, and where it stops nobody knows xD
Absolutely fell in love with the artstile, the ambience and the concept is genius too. Perfect for a jam. The energizing kept me active and interested in the small little story and I loved the characters and that I actually had to read the text to finish the game! Very Well Done You Guys!!!
Really liked this game the art direction was cool, would love to see it polished and a bit more stuff to do.
Amazing visuals in every way and I loved the art style and audio. The gameplay content felt rather limited in my opinion. When I worked out that rotating the wheel slowly was more effective than quickly, the game became more of a waiting game for when the next dialog option would come up.
Thanks for the feedback! This is our second collaborative game, and we decided to experiment with the idea of a walking house/city. However, while we were tying together the graphics, sound, and code (and while I was pestering the programmer with questions about Git and Godot), the gameplay ended up being a bit simplistic.
Then, we focused on atmosphere and added story/lore through dialogue, turning the game into more of a text-based experience with minimal interactions.
As you noticed, this didn’t make the gameplay any better.
We’re already thinking about how to rework everything after the jam and make it moe engaging. Thanks for your feedback—it’s really valuable to us!
I really love the art style! Very cool idea with the background story! Great work!
thanks :)
Sending me back to the newgrounds days with the art ngl and that is a very welcome feeling tbh ^-^
Thx! We wanted to make something unique and atmospheric, glad it vibed with you
Loved the visuals!
Thank you!
