Very original mechanic! Good game
Shift to spint doesnt seem to work for me...
God I love the setting and idea! super cool! though controls were a bit wonky
Cool idea! Badass samurai who gets older is always gonna be a cool idea.
Personally I felt the movement and controls didn't feel to good so it was kinda hard to do the platforming and the enemy sound were a bit too repetitive (though still good on you for adding sound effects people usually overlook that part)

I think I didn't quite get the concept after reading through these comments. I was quite confused about the 'getting younger' pick up. Though I think that aging over time does really re-enforce the theme. My main issue was that the window in which you can execute the double jump is quite small and I would think I had more time so I could do said double jump at the last second of my first jump.
The game was really enjoyable! I love fast paced platformers.

I loved the theme/art style, I think it was well executed. The sense of urgency was captured really well and therefore made the game really fun. The movement felt slightly clunky sometimes and I think I hit an invisible wall or 2 but considering you did it in 3 days major props to you. Well done
The concept for this is really interesting and I think you executed it quite well. The fact that I get slower as I grow older really helps create the urgency to have to keep moving and killing enemies. I do think though the controls are a bit hard to get used to, as I have to use two hands on my keyboard just for the movement and so it isn't easy to keep switching back to my mouse. But overall, this was quite fun! And I do apologize for my previous comment, that was for another game in the jam haha

I like the art style and color scheme a lot! The theme for the game is a unique concept as well. I was able to fly right by a lot of enemies though. Good job!
Interesting ideas, i like how you get older as you take damage. The sound really needs some work though. pain sounds are too long and too loud. Also it seemed like double jump wasn't working sometimes for me, (maybe i needed to sprint?)

I really liked the spin on the theme you took! Maybe have the camera placed a bit lower so that one can see the platform one want to land on. Otherwise, really fun game, left a rating for you of course ;)

Some keyboard combinations kept closing the tab xd but it was still fun artstyle and idea

It was fun, It was impossible to not getting hit by enemies since your attack is melee, next time they could only hit if they attack instead of just touching you. Keep it up!
Good point, was gonna add ranged attacks but I got sidetracked. Thanks for the advice!
the idea is very nice! i just think the enemies in the way kinda lose meaning if you can just rush trough them

I like the mechanics! Its a cool idea but i think the physics need some fine tuning, the whole thing feels very slippery which for me makes it frustrating. I hope you work on it some more once the jam is over!
True, I did put a "slip" material on everything as a cop out when stuff started bugging. Thanks for the advice!
