No worries! And don't worry I also struggle with mixing too haha, one day we will overcome that obstacle

This is such a fun concept, and I really enjoyed playing this game. Using the cursor to attack enemies made me feel as if I was really waving a sword against them, and it's a bit hard to explain but aesthetically it also looks cool in synergy with the main character you control. If you decide to push this game further after the jam I'd definitely be on the look out, but at the moment this game is really cool.
The visual style of this game is really cool! The way you managed to blend a cartoonish style with pixel art makes the game really visually appealing. I do wish there was a clearer indicator for how much paint I have, though maybe I just overlooked the visual aide for it. But overall I thought this game was solid!
erm what the sigma was that airhorn at the start bro
In all seriousness, this game is really impressive. I like the undertale vibes I got with the gameplay, humor, and overall presentation. I also think the combat mechanics you made is really cool too, very engaging. The audio is a bit too loud but I think it adds to the charm. Overall cool game bro!
I have to say, missed opportunity to say "push your cluck" in the description.
With that being said, the concept was simple and I think you executed it incredibly well. I was hooked trying to avoid getting chickened, and the increasing speed alongside the numerous obstacles in front of me kept me engaged. The music also helps complement the fun vibe of the game, especially the jingle for losing. Overall, I would happily get chickened again playing this game.
This game was really cute and simple, but effective in execution. I really like the artstyle, and I think the mechanics was easy to learn and master. The only thing for me though is that maybe the resolution could be made smaller as I think for some screens the game can look too big to the point that it doesn't fit everything on the screen. But overall, you did a good job especially for your first jam!
This was a really exciting and thrilling game to play. All the levels are tough but learnable, and they really encourage you to think on your (webbed) feet. The music and graphics are extremely polished too, making the experience even better. One suggestion I might have though is that maybe there could also be a desktop build next time since while the game is really good, it takes a long time to load and transition between scenes sometimes on at least my web browser. I do admit though that this might just be a device specific issue for me though, as overall I still think this game is great!
This was a really fun spin on a simple concept, and I admire the amount of personality present here. From lines like "collect the... not obstacles" to the vigerous handshaking animation, there is a lot of parts in this game that help elevate the experience. The gameplay itself is also great, and I like the number of obstacles and general elements that I had to engage with.
Please accept my e's for making a fun game.
The concept is simple but executed really well. The graphics and the music help really build a very aggressively snowy atmosphere that I think helps build a lot of tension and urgency to escape. The only thing for me however is that maybe the control scheme could be adjusted a bit as I do think it is a bit difficult to play with for me personally. But I also think this might be because I am more used to using the arrow keys + "z" and "x" when playing platformers with my keyboard. With that being said though, I still enjoyed the game and I think you did a great job with it.
Simple but fun game! I think there is a good balance of different things to focus on like keeping the sheep away from the logs and bringing the sheep back to the pasture. This helps keep the game engaging and fun. The music and graphics overall add a calm and chill vibe to the game, and I think it complements the gameplay well too. I do think trying to control the sheep in the game is a bit difficult and tricky, but that might just be a skill issue haha. Overall, this is a well polished and cool game, and I hope your doggo is getting many pets and treats.
There are some really interesting ideas in this game, like the method for equipping weapons. Having to decide where to put each weapon I think adds for some interesting strategy. The gameplay itself was also quite fun, and I felt really powerful as the commander of the ship.
I also really like the visual presentation. The resolution though might be a bit too big and maybe it could be smaller since I had to spend time trying to fit the window on my screen but that might just be a device issue. In general, this was fun!
The concept for this game was simple but fun. I like how the long the trees take to prop up as it gives me enough time to prepare and the scaling of the difficulty is really fair and forgiving. I also said this on Discord but the sound effects for this is crisp and clean too!
As for feedback, I do think though that maybe there could be a more visible healthbar since from what I notice, if I hit too many trees I eventually die. But apart from that, this game was solid.
The concept for this is really interesting and I think you executed it quite well. The fact that I get slower as I grow older really helps create the urgency to have to keep moving and killing enemies. I do think though the controls are a bit hard to get used to, as I have to use two hands on my keyboard just for the movement and so it isn't easy to keep switching back to my mouse. But overall, this was quite fun! And I do apologize for my previous comment, that was for another game in the jam haha
I really like the artstyle on this one. It looks really comfy and combined with the music sets a great contrast to the difficulty of the game.
The game itself was simple but fun. I do think though that when new mechanics are being introduce through the text on the screen, the text doesn't go away and it does obstruct the view of the level which can make it quite difficult. But in general the game is solid.
I really had a lot of fun with this game. The sense of urgency and the need to make quick decisions on whether to kill enemies or just keep moving forward made for a really tense but rewarding experience. I also really liked the sound effects and the graphics too, the game is brimming with personality.
The only thing for me though is that when I move to the next room and I accidently go back to the previous one, the camera doesn't follow me and so I couldn't see where my player is going. I'm not sure if this was intended and if it is I understand, but I think that can lead to some unfair difficulty at times. But overall, this was still a really enjoyable game and it was nice following its development on Discord.
I said this before on Discord, but the game reminds me a lot of another game, "Last Command", and just like that game I also found this game challenging yet fun. The game itself is really tricky especially because it is not just the head of the snake you need to worry about but also the rest of your body, which makes dodging a challenge. The levels are varied and keeps you on your toes, making me have to keep adjusting my movements a lot. The music and artstyle fit the game too, and I especially like the melody of the music you made.
The only thing though is that I do think the unlimited continues take away from the challenge a little bit for me at least. I think instead of unli continues maybe you could create a way for players to just get more lives instead so that they really feel like they earned their extra chances to keep playing. But I still found the game challenging but fun overall so good job!
I really like the classic NES feel this game has. From the sprites to the music and the simple gameplay loop, you could put this game on an NES rom and I would think this was a hidden gem for the console that no one has discovered yet.
The only thing though is that when I die from the enemies and arrows, for some reason the wave just keeps going and I proceed to the next wave even though I should've lost. But overall, I think you did a pretty good job with this!
The concept is simple but I think it was executed well. I like the background music as it juxtaposes well with what is happening in the game, and the tutorial was done well. I think though the jump height could be increased a bit more since it is quite difficult to jump over the fences as it requires really precise places to jump from. But overall, this was executed well and is a solid game.
First things first, the music is actually really good. The lofi track at the beginning is really chill and groovy, and the gameplay music is quite energetic fitting the theme of the game. I also enjoyed the gameplay as it does keep me on my toes, but I do think the spike moves really fast especially at the start of the game. Maybe you can make the spike move slower at the start to help players ease in to the game before you start challenging them even more.
Overall though, I really enjoyed the game and I do hope I can check out more of the music sometime!
The concept for this is quite cool and I think it was executed well. The graphics and music fit well with the setting, and I also did feel the urgency and rush of having to figure out where to go next and make decisions per planet. The only thing though is that maybe at the start there could be more indicators on what the controls are because I was initially confused with what to do, but I eventually figured it out.
In general, good job!
The game is quite simple but executed well. The graphics look quite polished and the music is nice too, it fits.
I think one thing that might help in the future is to fix the resolution. At least on my end the game looks too big in fullscreen, and for a game like this I think it might benefit from a smaller window size so that I can better see everything in the game.
Overall though, this was solid!
Right off the bat I think the graphics are pretty neat and the music is really energizing! The music especially fits the setting of the game, which is that it is a high intensity situation.
As for the gameplay, while I like the concept and I appreciate the tutorial at the start, I do think the controls could be made clearer. What I understand is that maybe I am supposed to help the others get the parachute, but I don't know how unless I missed something. I think maybe an additional tip in the tutorial on how to give parachutes to the others or at least an illustration on what should be happening would help.
Overall though, I think the game has a really nice vibe to it!
Honestly, this game is really chaotic and I really like it for that. The gimmick of moving faster as you move more makes things feel really intense and fun. I also like the attack the player has: it's unique but at the same time can seem quite powerful knowing they can hurt so many enemies with just one barrier.
I think what would make this game even better is to give more indication that you are damaging enemies and by how much. Maybe you can make the enemies take knockback damage and have a pop-up above them showing how much damage you dealt. It helps make your attacks feel more impactful and makes players feel as if they are in fact dealing damage.
Overall, this was a chaotic but fun game to play. Now if only I had the skill to reach 90 seconds haha...
