Judge feedback

Judge feedback is anonymous and shown in a random order.

  • Very simple mechanics, I wish there was more to it to make to more refreshing.
  • Very well made game, the music was especially catchy. I would have loved to see some more depth and variety in the gameplay to help separate it from other similar games. However, I think you did a great job with the time you had.
  • Great work!! UI could take up a lot less of the screen and give you more options for obstacles! Bit confused what the purpose of reversing is as well? Other than that though I sure felt nice and chilled out cruisin!

How does the game fit into the theme?
The player controls a spaceship that is going faster and faster (forwards)

What premade assets did you use if any?
used a shader by Brian Smith (steampunkdemon.itch.io) for the background

What are the Discord usernames of everyone on your team?
Harmoen, Eyafarev, Orciety

Did you use MiniScript for your entry?

No

Did you use Playroom for your entry?

No

Smooth game and cool art :)

I like that it is straightforward and simple. Maybe there could be some side quests, but these quests might complicate the game too much. Just an idea!

Super fun straight forward game, simple and digestible!

I like it how it doest just move to the mouse when clicked isted it has a circual like movement nice game started to be fun when reached big speed

Developer(+1)

Right?!? Harmoen did a great job with that, I kept dying coz I kept trying to have the ship bop to the music hahaha

Submitted(+2)

Fun game, and a nice design. Feels polished!

Submitted(+3)

Game was simple but fun, I think maybe be a bit more adventurous with potential left and right movement? The theme was executed and I enjoyed the pickup system. Well done!

Developer

That is a great suggestion, thanks for the feedback!

(+2)

I recommend making it more clear what the pickups do and stuff, the game has potential tho, just a little too unclear for me

Developer (1 edit)

Whoops! We updated the Itch page description hopefully to make it more clear. Thanks for your feedback!

not a game jam without a game themed around space XD! all jokes aside really like it! no complaints!

Developer

Ahahaha for sure! Thanks for the feedback!

Submitted(+2)

Its a fun little space game. Controls are easy to learn. Great job!

Submitted(+2)

I dig the vibes. Controls feel nice. Starts of really easy and then gets basically impossible lol

Submitted(+3)

I think it's a simple and fun concept. The art and music work really well.

Although I didn't quite understand what the level and XP were for, with the other powerups it was clear, but I don't know if I missed something about the XP haha.

Still, it's a great job! :D

Developer(+2)

XP and levels give you more acceleration and boost speed. I didn't have enough time to flesh it out or explain it lol.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! :D We should def write and explain the XP/level mechanics are for on the page.
