I really enjoyed playing this. The fast paced movement works really well. You added satisfying levels, especially within the theme, and you even added soundeffects.

Although I found the game way too easy, I think it has potential. You've set up a really good system to create some very interesting puzzles.

Thank you! That actually means a lot to me, I was thinking of making a game like this which would just be a one-time playthrough kind of game, I MASSIVELY overscaled this project (for the jam) tho, I thought I'd have more time than I actually ended up having.

Took me a while, but got first place on both leaderboards! :D

Overall a very good gamejam game, the leaderboard alone made it more addictive than many other games I've tried lmao

This is such a charming little game! The entire vibe is just there. How did you create the effect of walking around the planet?

Oh mb! Thanks for notifying me!

Thanks a lot for the feedback! I have been working on an updated version with better directional shooting, new upgrades, a bomb delay and more. I'm not sure if I'll ever actually publish it though

Gameplay's satisfying af, love the metal pipe falling sound. Honestly a quite addicting little game which I wasn't expecting since I was just looking at random recently ended gamejams lmao

Edit: "Fuck you for playing" 😭👌

Lmaooo, thanks for playing!

I was really curious about this one, but the game crashed as soon as I pressed start, tried it several times and waited for a few minutes but it didn't seem to load 😭

The game felt polished, very great visuals and audio. The gameplay also felt "right' if that makes sense, really good work!

Very cleverly made, it's very challenging yet it feels very fair, I feel like you really thought out the bullet patterns as well, they work amazingly with the game. The visuals were good, especially the blood explosion when dying lmaooo, it somehow made dying satisfying. Audio is also fine. Overall very good job!

Man the bosses were all so unique, very great job making that stuff. I would've liked to see some sort of punishment for dying but tbh, I don't even care that much, I kept playing just to see the next boss, and it never disappointed. You should really be proud of this

Very good for a first gamejam! The game def isn't perfect, I'd love to see my health (I may just be blind) and perhaps some extra variety in enemies/bullets. But the combination of absorbing bullets and then shooting them back somehow felt really satisfying, Also the bullet vaporizing effect as they hit the borders was a nice touch. Enjoyed this more than I thought I would, great job!

Visuals are very unique, also very good use of the soundeffects. I loved that I could sort of choose my own playstyle, just wish there was a bit more variety but with a little more content this will prob be game of the year lmao

This is one of the best gamejam games I've ever played, it was a little short but damn was it good. Very polished, very good sprite work, I really enjoyed the gameplay, skilltree was fun af, final boss was very cool. Overall my favorite so far!

Damn thanks a lot for this feedback! I really appreciate you taking this much time to analyse the game. The original idea was that the bullet make you unstable upon hit, and you're able to regain stability (somehow, I hadn't planned that part out yet), when I realized that I had completely forgotten to implement the theme it was obviously a bit too late to change the entire system lmao.

I think you're very right about the bullet direction, I should've thought it out better and it should be more obvious where the bullets are moving and why. I'll fix it as soon as the jam is over!

Thank you for the feedback, it was intentional to have the bullets not exactly go to the position you're moving to because as you move the player also rotates, I understand that it can feel off tho, I'll take a look at how I could make this more visually accurate!

Yeah pretty much what others have said, hitbox is pretty huge, but I could see this turning into a charming little game, keep making stuff!

Actually pretty solid! Cool visuals, satisfying explosions and stuff, upgrades felt satisfying, and that you made all of this during the jam time (except the music) is pretty insane, great work!

Oh that's interesting, I should've probably tested it with different devices. Thanks for the feedback!

Edit: It's probably an issue with the browser version, I'll take a look at this later. Did you wait for a little bit after first killing an enemy? The first kill on browser always freezes the game for a little 😭

Makes a lot of sense, I'd have done the same lol

This is pretty great, the only thing that felt a bit off was the massive speed boost when jumping, but other than that everything felt really polished, great visuals and sfx. And it's so cool how you can see your health in the background and how your speed interacts with it and stuff. Very well made

Game feels polished, quite liked it although I would like the game to be a bit faster.

I think that's what I like about it, it just looks very clean to me

I'm hyped

Well I tried to run inbetween 2 boxes, but it really didn't seem like I hit the boxes, are you supposed to be able to run through the middle part of them?

Everything fit the silly theme so well, the way you die and the music and stuff. Main problem I had with the game is that it takes a while to gain speed, and after I gained quite some speed I died without hitting something which was a bit annoying. But very funny game!

Keeping in mind that you only had a single day, this is pretty good. Wish there was more to this, I can actually imagine this being a lot of fun! (it was already fun but just needs more polish and stuff, great job still submitting something tho, fr)

I love how you did the tutorial. Nice sfx, music and art. Good level designs. Gameplay felt smooth and polished. Great use of the theme. I really like this one and I can imagine this being extremely fun to speedrun.

wtf is happening lmaoo, honestly, great job submitting something

Help! My computer has been infected by snake!

Great game, had no idea something like this was possible with Godot, really cool and thanks for showing me this! Really enjoyed it!

The jump felt weird but not sure if that was intentional. Art was consistent. Had a decent time playing this. Wallbounce mechanic def has potential and was a lot of fun to use, it launched me like 20 platforms up once lmaooo

Ahh alright, I'm using brave browser so that's prob the case then, I believe it's based on firefox

This is just infinity train (the show) but as a game! :O
