- I wish the gravity wasnt as punishing, it makes the jump feel heavier than it should compared to the velocity of the "up" part of the jump. Other than that, the health mechanic with don't stop moving made it refreshing to play as a platformer!
- Oh my goodness, the little death animation and the physics that will keep your body THROWN across with momentum are hilarious. I love the art and character, so quirky and cute. VERY strong physics that take some getting used to, but goes with the theme! Nice job!
- I think the concept for the game is really unique and interesting, and the art style is really cool. I think the controls could be tweaked a little to make the game feel more responsive. Other than that, the gameplay is really fun and polished.
How does the game fit into the theme?
In DON'T STOP MOVING, speed is linked to your health. Standing still decreases your health, and moving increases it. However, you can't just jump in the same spot; to progress, you have to keep moving forward :)
What premade assets did you use if any?
I used premade textures and sound effects, which I modified to meet my needs. I also used a movement platformer template I extended for additional features. I also did not make the music. All credits are given with links at the bottom of the game description :)

Hi, I'm hedge one of your judges! Played at https://twitch.tv/hedge_in at 7:35:38 <3 (Part 2)
While the game does feel good to play, there are a few massive issues that hindered my enjoyment of it, at least towards the later levels. First and foremost - slide is tied to the CTRL key. On many browsers, CTRL+D opens dialogue to save the page as a bookmark. This meant that if I mistimed my inputs, the whole game would freeze until I closed the popup, and I would then have to restart the level as I inevitably met my demise. Additionally, wall-jumps did not give consistent height or momentum, making it difficult to get a consistent, muscle-memory run pattern going.
However, it's not all bad! The theme interpretation is good, and the tutorial is very well-implemented. The difficulty curve is also one of the strongest parts of the game, and the pacing was solid.
(As for the slide jump issue, I'd recommend tying it to shift instead. Similar keyboard location, easier to reach for most players, and no risk of keyboard shortcut problems!)
Thanks for your feedback! The game controls were not created with the browser version in mind, so I didn't really think of the shortcut issues until quite late into development T_T, but I did add gamepad support and alternative controls (however, I completely forgot to mention these in the tutorial). Using the shift key is a great idea! I actually can't believe I added three different slide keys, and shift didn't cross my mind at all. As for the wall-jumps issue, this was a frustrating bug I couldn't figure out haha. Once again, thank you for playing and for your in-depth feedback; it helps me to improve, so I really appreciate it! :)
This is pretty great, the only thing that felt a bit off was the massive speed boost when jumping, but other than that everything felt really polished, great visuals and sfx. And it's so cool how you can see your health in the background and how your speed interacts with it and stuff. Very well made
Thanks for your feedback! I agree with the speed boost thing; it was quite difficult to fine-tune in time, and I just stuck with what I had to get the levels out in time :/, but thanks for playing! :)
Makes a lot of sense, I'd have done the same lol
So fast paced! It was a good challenge! I'm not that great at games like these.
Glad you enjoyed the challenge! Thanks for playing :)
Interesting mechanics, good game
Thanks for playing!
Love the design, branding and look of the game and the gameplay is sharp, but I had trouble using the jump slide because the crtl would take me out of the window. I think it's a me problem hehe. Great game! <3 Love that little bro player character.
Sorry for the browser issues, haha; I didn't think of it the first time I made the controls T_T, but thanks for playing! :)
I really REALLY enjoyed playing!!! You had me ragequit at one point but I really liked how every level brought a new level of challenge that never got too frustrating and always made me feel super accomplished when I managed to finish it! Also the theme interpretation is amazing, in particular I liked how you conveyed the urgency to move though the background. Loved it!
Glad you enjoyed it! I really appreciate your feedback :)
Cool game
Thanks for playing!
yo, similar idea :D cool game
I appreciate you playing my game! :)
Cool game! Love the grafics and the idea, really fun
Thanks for playing! Really appreciate it :)
NIIIICE! Really like the art! Good work!
Thanks for playing! Most of the sprites come from Kenney's 1-Bit Platformer Pack, which I either recoloured for gameplay's sake or created new sprites to match with them (like the slide and death sprite) :)
Nice game, you did a good job stitching together all of those premade assets.
Thanks for your feedback! I didn't have a lot of free time, so I wanted to focus on polish and level design since those were my biggest weak points. I made sure to have the VFX and SFX be consistent with the vibe of the game so that the differing assets didn't clash with each other. Thanks for playing :)
The best game I tried so far even tho I was way too bad LOL!
Sorry for the difficulty scaling! But thanks for playing :)
so fun and so polish. i love it
Thanks for playing! :)
nice game slide is a bit long sfx are awsome with this art feels good, ngl controls kinda messing up when playing on brwoser ctr + space opens my serch tab etc hahah
Thanks for playing my game! Sorry for the controls messing with your browser hehe,
Liked the concept, the art was really nice. The game felt nice to play, and I don't think the lack of sound made it much much worse. The controls were ok, but I accidentally did ctrl+w which closes your tab so.... But other than that it's perfect! (I switched to using the space to jump lol). I would really enjoy more levels because the difficulty curve is steeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep. Great Job!
Thanks for playing and for your feedback! It might be a bug I haven't come across yet, but there should be sfx and music in the game. The main reason for the alternative controls was for that reason actually; on the first version my playtesters kept bookmarking or closing their browser XD
I liked the concept, it was a bit difficult at first, but I managed to advance through several levels.
The art and presentation are very good.
Good job! :D
Thanks for playing my game! I would've liked to have the difficulty ramp up more steadily over time, but I'm glad most can still get through most of it :)
Really impressed by this game! The level design is top-notch, and the difficulty progression is really well executed. I really liked how you added variety to the levels with timed buttons, traps, and keys to use.
Regarding the theme, I think it fits really well too.
As an area for improvement, adding a bit of narration could be cool to give more meaning to this race against time🫡
I really appreciate your feedback! I agree with the narration bit. I wasn't exactly sure how to explain that mechanic, and it didn't help that I kind of left it to a last-minute thing haha. Thanks for playing!
The gameplay was fun and the music was nice. Managed to beat all 10 levels. For feedback, I'll say the level of difficulty ramped up pretty quickly. Would have liked to see some more obstacles implemented with the sliding in mind.
Thanks for your feedback! I did actually have an obstacle that required sliding, but unfortunately, I ran out of time to put it on another level :(. Thanks for playing! :)
Really nice and responsive controls for a quick gamejam platformer. Great job!
Thanks for playing! The controls weren't implemented by me; most of the heavy lifting was already done by DawnosaurDev :). I did port it over to the new Unity input system for gamepad support, however!
