Great job! This game has potential to be very addicting.

I like the 3d & 2d blend, makes it very unique visually. Controls are difficult to figure out on your own without reading the gamepage, but you eventually get the hang of it !

Well done cool and fun!

Developer

Thank you so much for the compliments! We do need to calibrate better the swiping and make it more obvious. We were aiming for the swiping of like fruit ninja, but this is as close as we got with Gdevelop and a week.

The art style of combining 2D sprites and 3D objects reminded me a lot of specific microgames from the WarioWare games. The gameplay was cool, but admittedly, it took me a while to figure out the controls. Regardless, you guys did a good job! :)

Developer(+1)

Damn being compared to WarioWare is a COMPLIMENT AND A HALF <3 <3 <3 THANK U

The game was tough to figure out, and even once I did learn how to play, it often felt like I didn't have much control over what was going on. However, I do really like how the challenge keeps increasing as you clear more and more out of the way. After all, every new obstacle just adds on to the items you're already trying to juggle.

Developer

Thank you hehehe this IS the Dark Souls of swiping phone cleaning games. 🤣🤣

Fun game! It would be better if the instructions are shown at the start of the game. I played it on the laptop, so it wasn't entirely intuitive until I read the description. The concept is nice!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! Sorry about the lack of instructions in game, we definitely overlooked that it would be needed for this.

Fun game! I really like the mix of 2D and 3D art style. Love that it gets quite chaotic as time goes on, and it is definitely a lot easier to play on Android than on PC. Nice job! (I got a high score of 1238 :))

Agree with the subtle 2D & 3D blend.

Your high score is amazing :) I couldn't manage to swipe all the trash away completely.

And I found that the trash behind you could still trip you over some time later after you go over it.

Developer(+2)

Yeah if you leave trash behind you die so gotta be careful, also the small trash pieces are traps because if you throw them hard they can bounce back and make you die. 🤣🤣

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! Chaos was the main goal here apart from never stopping the forward movement, so I am glad we achieved it. Definitely recommend the phone gameplay over any other. Great High score btw! The highest score at the moment of all time is 3323 by our programmer hehe.

Submitted(+1)

Great! It was fun, haha. The mechanics are very simple and original, and the art is very well done.

At first, I had a hard time understanding what to do. Maybe a tutorial could help with that.

Nice work! :D

Developer

Thank you so much! <3 Tutorial is def in the list if we go back to work on this later or port it to godot.

The 2D and 3D art combo provides a unique style to the game, but on a computer the swiping gameplay feels unpredictable as to whether I'll hit the object I'm swiping away.

Developer

Thank youuuu <3 It truly was a little CHAOTIC on pc with the swiping, but we deeply recommend it on phone.

Submitted(+1)

Really struggled with this one until I realized you were supposed to drag and not click. Overall it's a nice and simple endless game. Could use some more polish and bug fixes to prevent players from clicking things when it has already triggered.

Developer

Thank you so much for powering through the frustration and still giving it a try, means a lot! Definitely agree it could do with polishing and a tutorial or some kind. Who knows maybe one day I'll get bored and try to port it to Godot, that will be better. We did not do too well with Gdevelop.

Submitted(+1)

I found the UI and graphics really nice, and the concept fits the theme perfectly! As for improvements, I’d suggest making the gameplay a bit simpler, maybe it’s just me, but in WebGL, it felt a bit tricky to handle. Thanks for this work !

Developer(+1)

Thank you so so much! I agree with a little polish we can have a super fun phone game to waist some time while in line at the store hehe.

(+1)

It's a funny game, I liked it. As if you can easily send them to mobile phones, add a couple more types of garbage, for example, you can send some garbage to the trash cans that will be along the way so that a mountain does not form.

Developer

Thank uuu! We had so many other ideas for trash and trash mechanics, including wet trash and slippery trash, but nonetheless we did not have the time or skill with Gdevelop to manage those and a complete game in 7 days hehe. Still maybe one day in Godot.

i thought the title was like, keep crying. that man crying really confused me. but after playing it, i understood that it ment smt else. you really fooled me lol. edit: i dont like the desktop experience. must be played on mobile for the real experience.

Developer

hehehehe Love the inicial confusion, I feel like that's a feature, not a bug. Also I agree 100%, best experience is on phone.

Honestly from the thumbnail I thought this game would be about wiping something else... haha

Loved the visual/audio design!

Developer

I genuinely love the voice acting so much. Also the obsessive swiping of that poor guy is very fun both visually and as an infinite runner! Super funny seeing him zoom around the hallway trying to get all the stuff on the floor to fly as far away from him as possible... I also really like the color scheme you used!!

Developer(+1)

Thank youuuuuuuuu this means so much that you like the game and the visuals that much<3 It was so much fun to put this all together and design all of it, I feel like it shows.

Submitted(+1)

Really cool concept! I especially liked how some objects are 'heavier,' so they don’t get pushed very far. I sometimes couldn't swipe eggs and wine glasses, tho. Nonetheless, it was funny to play.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! The egg and wine glass are meant to be the opposite challenge to the heavy objects, they are so small and light it's hard to swipe and when you do they can end up go down the right way. It obviously still needs polishing, but thank you for trying and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

This was a very cool game and i love the idea of the IA!! haha very funny, good game :D

Developer(+1)

Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it!

And just to make sure no one is confused, all assets and history of Keep Wiping is made by Humans (or as close as we can get with the untitled game studios members) No chatbots or AI were used.  The only AI here is fictional and  in the story of the game.

Submitted(+1)

This was cool! Not many mobile games being made. Hard to play on mouse and keyboard (obviously) but I can imagine it'd be a lot of fun on a phone. Well done!

Developer

Thank you! We all agree it's more fun on phone. We even tried making the oc build have a bigger cursor hit box, but we never managed to figure it out on develop. Not sure if doable.

10/10 menu good fun.

Developer(+1)

Thank youuuuu 💖

Submitted(+1)

I like the idea of the things accumulating until you have to swipe like a maniac lol, that's fun. I only found that things go to much to the right and it becomes really hard to swipe them.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for the feedback! I honestly agree. Me and the boys maybe play with it a little more to see if we can tighten the swiping to be more fruit ninja like and more fun. 💖 Very happy to hear you had fun 😊
