I Saw a game like this on Youtube. very cool. would be cool if you could make different factions fight each other.

Oh yeah, in the main. Menu, there is a secret (not so secret anymore) keybind that let’s you fly and become invincible.

There’s power ups that remove the slippy movement. I’ll give you a hint, the best one is on the far left of the map.

Sadly some folks here are complaining it’s too hard and some are complaining it’s too easy. I think it’s the problem of the level which should have rewarded the good players with better scores and the less good players with an easy experience.

I might make a new map later after the jam. If I get in the top 25% Although 33.3% would still be good

Yeah you are right, the slippy movement is a feature, and I should’ve given the player some cool power. Like freezing time for 10 sec or shoot water drops on enemies. And also so e enemies. But yeah. It’s likely first proper game jam.

For the bugs, they just don’t work on the Web. They work on windows but I never got it up in time. And that other version had all problems fixed and better art. Sadly it didn’t upload.

For the lighting, I planned so much more. But I forgot to update the jam build with the updated QoL features and better art. After the jam is over, I might Polish the game even more if its well received. And finally add a downloadable build.

Great idea. I could even add more maps and make a proper tutorial. Thx for the idea, it’s honestly a great one.

i thought the title was like, keep crying. that man crying really confused me. but after playing it, i understood that it ment smt else. you really fooled me lol. edit: i dont like the desktop experience. must be played on mobile for the real experience.

The game went off the charts (pun intended) on the immersiveness. although the absence of a menu that shows which key corresponds to which track really broke my immersion. my game has this “god mode” that is there for the noobs if they are too bad at the game. maybe you can add smt similar

didn’t you say on discord that you will open source this project or smt?

that is because you are an ice. its like the main challenge of the game: speedrun with the bad movement. there is even a power up (the ice phoenix feather) that makes you move normally, as if it were a precision platformer, for only 20 seconds (a run lasts ~2 minutes).

if you still think its hard. it might just be a skill issue. but that can be fixed by replaying the game.

Looking at the gif and screenshot, your game does look good, especially if you had the skill to play it.

I died on the 2nd level of the platforming. I might just be one of the biggest noobs, lol.

Nice game. but part 2 is too hard for me. kinda ironic hat i also made a platformer yet am so bad at platformers. lol.

rename the .pck file to be the same as the .exe file. then run the exe file.

Ahh, i see the issue. the NoDelete.pck has to be renamed to the same name of the exe file. i had updated this on itch but ig the update wasnt sent?

by what i know if the pck and the exe are both there, the exe should execute the game.

This game is record breaking, This is my worst game in the last 3 years. I couldn’t even spend a proper day working on it.

You should have changed the button ui to fit the arcadey theme. you can do it by going into the button node, theme overides, styles. and creat a new style for each button state. you can check the buttons on my game’s main menu as an example.

tbh I’m also trying to farm ratings via comments. but i reply to other comments and only mention my game when it makes sense to mention it. it works, and it is way better and has real value than ctrl+c and ctrl+v’ing everywhere

why are you everywhere in every games comments?

don’t all platformers have physics? you don’t have to specially mention it as “Car platformer with physics” because most car platformers do have physics

btw i added a feature in my game where you could change the physics midgame. like while moving at sonic speeds, make the friction super high to slow down.
