  • Interesting idea, I couldn't really figure out how to get the upgrade fish though.
  • Pretty simple but fun game. The game can feel pretty punishing if you don’t immediately find another wave. But other than that, I like the concept and the game feels pretty polished.
  • Music MAKES this experience, great work with the sound design! Creates a greater motivation for succeeding haha and not interrupting the momentum. I do wish it progressed in difficulty a bit faster or got more interesting outside of fish upgrades quicker, but nonetheless a solid experience.

How does the game fit into the theme?
It is a high-score-chasing game in which you surf from wave to wave to keep moving forward down stream. The further you go, more upgrades are unlocked, which makes every run feel unique!

What premade assets did you use if any?
none

The upgrade fish aren't the small ones that flee from you, It is a yellow fish that appears the further you go

Really fun! Trying to catch waves at the last possible moment makes for a great core mechanic and *almost* makes it feel like a rhythm game. Having to catch the upgrade fish to get an upgrade is a cool idea. I like how the music speeds up as you get faster. My best score was 2362m

Quite a unique game! The wave riding mechanic is really neat and makes for a really fun main mechanic.
I liked how you weren't punished that much when failing to ride the waves and hitting rocks which makes learning the main mechanic way easier.

Great Job!

I really liked the game haha, I think it's a very original idea. Also the art and music fit really well, and I liked the detail of the music speeding up and going with the game.

Maybe some more elements could be added to freshen up the gameplay, but overall it's a great job! :D

My reaction while playing was: “wait, I’m playing this beautifull game for the last 20 min? Pt-BR: Por sinal, obrigado por colocar ambos os idiomas, foi um toque excelente e digno de respeito.

This is great! Nice and simple, and everything works together nicely. Changing the music tempo as the play speed changes is a great touch.
